Noodles & Company restaurants, for example, grew same-store sales by 3.7 percent year-over-year in 2018 by luring back pasta-phobic carb watchers with zucchini-noodle zoodles, which were introduced in May. The company said it plans to launch a new line of vegetable-infused noodles in the coming months to continue to emphasize its place in the health-conscious foods marketplace, the Denver Business Journal reported. Birds Eye’s Veggie Made line includes pastas made from zucchini and lentils as well as products like veggie tots and cauliflower fries.
