Shorted 100 shares at $89.52 in pre-market............no way this should hold up with those strong employment numbers. Have another order at short 100 shares at $91 and then another at $93.

ALL targets are below here................and NEE was DOWNGRADED a week ago with a price cut.

I believe this run-up is because of the Bill in the Senate to be voted on this weekend that will help "green" companies reduce emissions.............SELL the news either way on Monday. And if it FAILS.....watch out below.

It looks like NEE has the second worse YTD cumulative total return in the utility sector, about -16%, What makes it even worse, because of its market cap, it also has the highest weighing, ~16%, pulling the entire sector down. My guess is the price ran up too fast over the previous years, and some investors have decided to cash out, apparently believing at the YE2021 price to sales, ~10, it was no longer a compelling investment. JMO, other thoughts?

Last week NEE had their analyst's meeting with a replay on line. It's 4 hours but I am retired so i listened to the whole thing. They have upped all of their targets for earnings, cash flow & capital spend. New ESG goal is to be carbon free by 2045 (not carbon neutral but Free). They have also extended 10% dividend payout per year to 2024 off of 2022 base. Yearly projection I calculate $1.62 to ($1.96 - $2.00 range). Amazing how well this company operates.

Thanks for your comments. They are helpful. May I ask your additional advice? Is YAHOO finance "Price/Sales", "Fair Value", "Performance Outlook", "Analyst's" or "Zack's" ratings used in your decision making process?

Several Electric Utilities have high P/E's, P/S's but NEE's are higher? PEG's approx the same? EBITDA/MARKET CAP differs somewhat. Is there 1 or 2 things you use most?
