Moody's Investors Service ("Moody's") upgraded the long-term issuer rating of NewMarket Corporation to Baa2 from Baa3 and also upgraded the senior unsecured rating to Baa2 from Baa3. "The upgrade reflects NewMarket's improved credit metrics, including lower leverage and higher EBITDA margins following several quarters of underperformance, conservative financial policy and consistent track record of profitable operations throughout business cycles" said Domenick R.
