Glad we came back and tested that big swing up. IMO, our next resistance line will be around $1.16. If we can cross it, I expect a re-test, then a continuation upto $1.30-$1.40 (our next big resistance area). Some of our most difficult levels will be found around $1.80. Personally, I think we will need to see Gold back over $2,000 per ounce to get over the hump. That being said, last two PR publications were very bullish, and very strong price action began occurring BEFORE any major moves on POG. That tells me we were way oversold and based on momentum and volume I would say we have a lot of new eyes on the company. That's super bullish as well. But I agree with those who tend to treat NGD more as leveraged play on POG. I think if it goes on a run, NGD is going to follow in-suit. If the company has succeeded in lowering their all-in cost, even remotely, we may be headed for the perfect storm that I've been waiting several years for. Lower costs, Higher POG, Better Visibility... I've got my fingers crossed.

Good day. It's all about the gold price. If Fed backs off (which it should and will eventually), gold will come back strong. $2k by mid next year is my conservative estimate, but maybe sooner.

we now have the bank of Japan and the Bank of England going back to QE mode. The ONLY way out of the printing fiasco is to kick the can down the road and reset 'inflation targets to 3 or 4 per cent per annum (of course reality will be much higher). The Fed cannot raise rates to their dot plot targets and keep them there without further blowing up the federal budget which will simply add on to the tsunami of debt that they would be required to sell. long before that point the economy would collapse in a debt service implosion. IF the Fed hikes at the next meeting it will be the last one. They like the BOE will keep short term rates up for a while, and simultaneously go back to QE. This is an effective transfer of power and money to the federal gov since tax receipts will go up due to inflation and the federal budget as a percent of GDP will also rise. If you are not owing hard physical assets and equities exposed to them you will get left behind. The clock is ticking much faster now.

Quantitative easing will lower pain for middle classes (borrowers) it will not do much for inflation. good observation David

Yeah i'm out for now. Gold/NGD have never faired well after Interest rate day. 0.75 expected and a 1.00 would for sure send us lower. I'm betting on a retracement to at least .75 or .80 after.

Gold is down $70 this week and NGD is up 10%. Is this the twilight zone? A merger? A buyout? oversold? Unfortunately I sold my shares at $.83 on Tuesday anticipating gold would fall. I am going to wait till Monday. If there is no opportunity to buy back in the .70s, then I will buy another miner. The entire sector is on sale. This is my favorite message board. Best of luck. This week's price action suggests NGD could sky rocket if gold reverses and starts going up.

Well…we have the hope that gold usually goes up now for the next 6 months, maybe we will see $2000 again?

The price action has been very interesting on NGD. Obviously, insiders acquiring shares is of interest, but their share counts are small compared to some of these large volume buys we've been seeing. As I'm typing this, NGD is up 3% while the entire market is red and POG is down. It's been a year or more since I've seen NGD decoupled from POG movements. Anyone know what is going on?
