So, I bought this at $6.50 or so. Apart from the ridiculous 29% yield (which I don't expect to continue), I am astounded that a well-managed CEF of oil sector debt would be down 70% from $20-21 valuation highs. Even if HALF the debt is worthless, NAV would end up around $10 ish and yield would be ? 8%? We will see.

In the annual report which came out yesterday the managers of this fund explain what happened in the last year, but not why they did so poorly. This fund has to have done worse than any PIMCO fund has ever done in the history of the world. I bought in at seven dollars a share, thinking it cannot go down much further. I hope I’m right. I have a tight 5% stop loss in my mind and will move on if it goes down further. I am sure no one cares about anything I do, but for what it is worth, there it is.
