The amount of shares that insiders sell immediately prior to earnings is usually a good indicator of the company's earnings. This month, management sold a larger than the usual amount of shares.

Net revenue for the first quarter ended March 29, 2020, was $230 million, above the top end of our guidance range, but down 7.7% year-over-year and down 9.1% on a sequential basis. The decline in revenue year-over-year is primarily due to a reduction in service provider revenue of approximately $11 million.

    $FKWL conversation
$FKWL is the most undervalued stock on the market right now.

    Revenue : 44.3M (up 185% from Q1 2020)
    Gross Profit:7.5M (up 150% from Q1 2020)
    Net Income: 3.9M (up 297% from Q1 2020)

Net income for last 9 months = 18.35m
Net cash flow for last 9 months = 26.1M

    Cash March 31 = 54M
    Market Cap = 111m.

Half its market cap in pure cash with no long term debt.

Sell off relates to a recall on its Jetpack Hotspot. Verizon issued a recall on 2.5m hotspots sold between April 2017 and 2021 due to battery issues. 20 units out of 2.5m in 4 years had issues.

Product recall average return rate of 65% if recalled in first two years. Most Jetpacks were sold between 2017 and 2018 meaning they would of been replaced by 2021 or customers would pass on the recall.

    Recall cost: 2,500,000 x .40% = 1,000,000 batters X ($3 - $6 per battery)

The stock has dropped 230m in market cap for a 3-6m one time lose on a outdated product.

Price Target of 25$ by end of year after recall complete.

    Valuation compared to its peers:

    $FKWL
    Revenue growth: 180% YoY
    PE Ratio: 5.06
(sitting on half market cap in cash)

    $NTGR
    Revenue Growth: 25% YoY
    PE Ratio: 14.23

    $INSG
    Revenue Growth: 43% YoY
    PE Ratio: N/A (losses)

$FKWL is trading at a 65% discount to its peers and should be trading in the 30$ range.

This discount is a result of the Jetpack recall which will have at most a 3-6M impact on its next quarters financials. Factoring in this reduction in net income FKWL's PE Ratio would be at 6.30 which is still trading at a 56% discount to NTGR based on a PE standpoint.

When factoring in revenue growth and cash balance this stock should be trading with a PE ratio of 20+.

At these levels this stock will be a candidate of a buyout from a large telecommunication company.

Average up your costs base you will not regret it when this stock is trading back at above $30 by end of year.

It'll be interesting to see the reaction of investors when NTGRs stock price drops by $20 due to stock dividend. Probably going to take some people by surprise

Anyone know when the Earnings Report will be tommorow? Opening or Close of Bell? Some sources indicate it to be a strong beat.

Helllloooo, anybody out there. I am new to this board, just bought into NTGR and will decide after earnings if I stay. I am full in on Inseego and this stock caught my eye. The main reason I bought was an article that noted that one school district in Maryland is purchasing 4560 mifi units for students and teachers. I repeat 4560 mifi units. I have no idea if NTGR units but with that type of demand NTGR will get a good boost.

It seems we may have quite a strong quarter reporting, it's a beat in a few of the tracking areas investors look for. But, the stock is currently (-5.84) after hours. Not sure what to think. I'm in it to see the Bull Horns up.

Netgear is a good bet for both stay and home and come-back-to-office economies. While their residential grew, their SMB growth was flat. Come one they did 200 million $ in cash and cash flow positive in this bad environment. I am sure it will go back to 30$ soon.

Does anyone think there's any truth to the rumor that Amazon is interested in buying NetGear ?
I mean why would they ?
Unless maybe they want to expand their home network presence.
But even then, a price of $ 52 per share seems excessive.

Diluted EPS total for the 6 months ending late March were $1.71 per share, which is $3.42 annualized. This is equivalent to a PE of 11 at the current price, which is very good for this fast-growing company. The balance sheet is also strong. Given that inventory rose 26% from the end of Q4 2020 to the end of Q1 2021, the sales forecast of roughly flat from Q1 2021 to Q2 2021 seems conservative. I rate this a strong buy.

Something is brewing. Amazon bought EEro as an alexa fit. Alexa controls your home and networking is key. Alexa switch off the WIFI. Alexa, show me what the kid's are streaming. Basically, WIFI device has significant data value. If this is the case, there is a good chance Netgear can be acquired too by one of the big 3 companies - Google, Facebook, Apple. To me, netgear looks strategic fit for any company wanting to control homes.
