I'm hoping that IsZo will lend some insight as to what share holders should expect over the coming weeks.
1) What does this court victory mean for us ? 2) How will an appeal impact progress in a special meeting and vote on board replacement ? 3) What do share holders need to do in this interim period to prepare for and participate in the board removal process ?
Namtai paid $.88 annual dividend paid quarterly when I first owned it. It was an electronic company under koo then before the transition to real estate!
We all must write to the Board urging them to act on the shareholders' best interest and not to appeal

The most important thing to know......buy as many shares as you can, using your own due diligence, otherwise the whole deal is kaput.

Costco just bought a parcel of land in Longhua district for $345 million. It is about 43,000 square meters. For comparison Dongguan was 34,000 square meters and NTP paid $101 million. Longhua is closer to center of Shenzhen but judging by the price they paid it doesn't appear that NTP overpaid by a significant amount for that parcel of land. I think NTP is doing fine but we still need to reverse the crooked dilution.

Trail: Judge seems visibly bored with Kaisa explanations, maybe even agitated. He tends to push back on the defense team more than our side. Odds are high that Judge rules in Iszo favor. Yet, not sure of the remedy, nor of Kaisa reaction. Will Kaisa pull another fast one, and put us back in court again? Will the judge prevent Kaisa from doing anything material while the shareholders vote?
The question is raised!,From March 15 to April 26, will Kaisa continue to manage the namtai? I don't trust them completely

One of Kaisa/NTP's arguments is that IsZo is too optimistic in its valuation of the company. If that is the case why did they, themselves say the company was worth $20.10 three years ago before they broke ground on the properties? Why did they pay $17 for the shares three years ago? Have they destroyed value since then? If they have then all the more reason they should be ejected from the Board. I would think this would be abundantly clear to the judge. Any comments from those who have followed the trial?

I Live Nearby in Gushu and own my apartment thanks to my American Employer. I hope to be hear for at least ten years. NTP buildings in Gushu appear to be inferior. But prospective buyers want quality if they are going to buy before the building is finished. Kaisa's inferior quality is a known. I would not buy an unfinished product of theirs, but I would like to invest in a company like NTP.. NTP is a high risk investment only because of the Kaisa name as a developer.

So the Supreme Court in the High court of Justice ruled, and the Kaisa crooks say they will appeal and seek a stay pending the result of the appeal.
My question is what court supersedes the Supreme Court in High Court of Justice ? Another question is which court will rule on the stay ?
My hope is that the special meeting will be allowed to be called and not be delayed during the appeal of the Kaisa crooks.
