Earnings were great, sales were solid and guidance was conservative but inline with expectations. My advice: If you liked it at $85 then, you'll love it at $65. Many sellers sold off the good report because of perceived weakness in global manufacturing/ capex. Plus, with the summer recess, congress cant pass an infrastructure package. This is merely a reset in price.

the increasing drive vs flying trend is helping tax revenues from gasoline sales to fund future infrastructure. this was a great quarter. will be interesting how this trades tomorrow, it's had a huge run already.

truly crazy reaction. never trades at 24x. very fair multiple for a company that has grown eps on average 20 percent+ per year. earnings forecast a range for 2020 earnings next year including all current acquisitions with a midpoint of $4.50/share. using their current multiple of 24 times their $4.50/share is a stock price of $108. we are trading at half of that today. on top of that although earnings stalled in 3q due to some project delays and state funding issues, those projects will resume. add to that the strong cash flows....I loaded up last night AH at $55. This is kind of a no brainer if you look out a year or 2.

This has a long way to move back to $80+ as last Friday's 30% move was a gift. It's a sound business with a strong balance sheet and long-term growth. Management owns significant shares and they have been very disciplined with their strategy.

I have been following the company since 2014. This finally seems to be the chance to start a sizable position with attractive risk/reward.

what is the matter with the current stock market? I guess investors will pay anything for stocks with p/e ratios over 100 and sell good companies like NV5. rigged

who schedules a special conference call if it's not good news? I think management wants to get out it's clear message about the buyout of Quantum and stop the vacuum of negativity that's taken over the company the past year.
    Bullish

Revised 2020 adjusted eps of $4.55 at the mid point just came out that's a PE of 12 factoring in the AH price. That is ridiculously cheap for a company growing 20%.

company is in much better shape than when it hit all time of of mid 90s in 2018. don't know why wall street doesn't recognize that in the stock price

Nice gains. Good company. Keeping going up.

Shares are cheap and definitely present value at current levels. The market is signaling a tick-up in CapEx spending, which should, in turn, be a boon for a company like NV5. Acquisitions of Quantom and GHD Forensics engineering seem quite synergistic and accretive. Looks like investors are hitting the tax loss sell button this week. I think it's a good buy here for patient investors.

I guess Wall Street doesn't like steady growth companies reporting great quarters

To my surprise MM almost lost control of this. Key words from PR, company will raise it's own guidance for 2020. Management has excellent track record for meeting it's own guides.

in 11 days 85 to 65 with a beat on earnings the last 2 quarters & upgrade for next quarter. I read Q report I cant find any reason for this selloff. I put a stop loss in at 55. I hope it doesn't fill. please post why we are taking. Thanks.

Growth is very impressive, that it has been pulled off without dilution is truly amazing.

As long as fed is handing out nearly free money and buying Corp debt indiscriminately these 100 p/ e companies’ stock will flourish. This is a real company and will pay out eventually especially once an inevitable infrastructure bill is passed during admin or the next
