Stock is down almost 10% the day after reporting an earnings beat of .18 over .17 estimate. Seems opportunity is great, but performance is not great. Big guys were looking for .24. Management seems to be the problem. Think I will bail and observe for future.

So far all shipping firms have reported great results, no reason this will be any different.

Sold my position today. The economic news, especially China, is grim indeed. Wanted to maintain the modest profit I had. Earnings reports are rife with risk and I just don't have the confidence NVGS can outperform with this backdrop. Great company, I'm sure to keep my eyes open for another entry point. Good luck.

Was a good call and lots of reasons for optimism. Considering the long hurricane season and the electrical outages, they did reasonably well to turn a profit and shore up the balance sheet. Final lap of tank completion at the Terminal post hurricane season so hopefully will lead to many tanker visits to take greater stored volumes of NGL's to grateful buyers overseas. We got through their low point and made some money and next 6 months should be easier sailing with clear weather, vaccine stimulate growth and most dry docking operations and cost behind us. What a great opportunity to still be able to get this stock below $8. The terminal, the Luna Pool and pend up demand are going to take stock up and beyond historical highs. Won't be too long before they need to decide on a dividend thank you very much.

Any read through from EPD’s earnings on activity at the new ethylene marine terminal jv?

$NVGS says no impact to the business as a result of coronavirus. utilization rates are back to peak levels and export take or pay contracts start paying in March dropping $50M EBITDA into JV. Rates⬆️utilization⬆️vessel supply shortage in 2020 so profit⬆️.

handysized LPG vessels are holding their recent rise to $670k/month,from $500k/month last year, due to a shortage of ships in 2020.

Handy Ethylene shipping rates are $720k/month. Rates will increase as the ethylene flow from take or pay terminal just beginning and creates a shortage of ethylene vessels. $NVGS dominant player in HDY LPG and Ethylene
    Bullish

Seems to have found a bottom at $9. Some day the shares will go up. An exceptionally well run company, as best I can tell. In, again, today. Good luck, if anyone is out there!

Though I think it is worth at least twice as much again, I’m not sure why someone paid 18% more for 1 share but certainly was appreciated by long term shareholders like me and brought a smile to my face - Merry Christmas!

By no means an expert in this industry, lots of headwinds right now, but the thing I like best is pps. Pre covid, trading range $11 to $13 and would probably have moved higher as the partnerships and storage projects ramped up. Price is everything, and I think it’s a conservative play here, plus company is smaller, more nimble and a leader in what they do. Sure lots of competition, but natural gas and it’s derivative products are increasing in demand (excluding temporary supply issues due to covid) as they become more available to customers outside the us. This small company is right in the middle of this opportunity. Nice book value, other financials not terrible, technically looks
    like a breakout is pending.

Bodes well for NVGS...Ethane shipments to China increasing nicely.

CEO leaving or being pushed out? New Chilean shareholders are putting their own team in place. May be a good thing as share price has languished under old management.
