I love how the only time management ever responds to shareholders is if it’s in a letter about a proxy fight. If I ever have any questions in the future, I’m just gonna have Comrit write a letter.
Let’s go Stern!

Let me get this straight- NEGATIVE FFO of $4M per quarter concurrent with $6.4M per quarter in: related party fees, equity compensation, and G&A? How does that work? No wonder you have a proxy fight...
M
Oh, wow, this REIT really appears to be run by fraudsters. Hope you longs vote for those activists with their arguably pretty cute candidate 😂

Any thing Mike Weil is involved with or is encouraging is TOXIC and probably illegal lol

I've watched insiders buying into this, I'm intrigued...I don't believe people will move out of cities, especially NYC...not sure when is a good time to buy in

any idea what's so wrong with this stock? it just keeps sinking while other reits are rising

OK...is REDDIT turning NYC into a meme stock? Maybe but judging on how things panned out for BB or NOK, don't bet your house on it. Like most other meme stocks, this rally could very well be short lived and yes back to $6.00 - NYC is fundamentally bankrupt given its HUGE DEBT and low profitability. But hey, if REDDIT takes it to $100 then NYC can issue expensive shares and pay off its debt......

Quoting from PR today ---
"New York City REIT completed a successful third quarter, highlighted by listing our Class A shares on the NYSE, collecting over 85% of the cash rent due in the quarter, and significantly increasing our weighted-average remaining lease term to over 7.5 years, despite the ongoing challenges of the COVID-19 pandemic,” Michael Weil, Chief Executive Officer, commented".
It is beyond my comprehension to see how this has been a successful quarter for stockholders. What world are these guys living in?

NAV to STOCK PRICE
You have a stock trading at $7 with a NAV at $48. Go figure... I believe this will be a nice play.
C
This continues to slump after the NYSE listing. Any analysis out there?

is this a remnant of the ARC NYC REIT?
seems it lost a lot of money and reverse split then came public again?
what happened?
now it is in default of certain covenants?
j
I guess this reit hasn't made a profit in 4 years. How is that possible??? I guess that's why it's lost around 75 percent of its initial value.
R
We are seeing some support around $6, which is just an anomaly. The stock ought to be trading in the $20's, which would still be very low considering a NAV of $48 ! Great time to buy now as OMICRON is spooking the markets; especially NY real estate. However, Moderna and Pfizer are already working on a new vaccine which should be available in 3 months. Then, fear will recede as it did the first time around.
C
This will reach a PB ratio of 1 by the end of 2023. That's a lot of upside.
