A Berkshire Hathaway (ticker: BRKA) investment manager recently nearly doubled his personal holdings of Optical Cable (OCC) stock.
Ted Weschler, who has been working for Warren Buffett since 2012, bought 364,500 more shares of the maker of fiber-optic and copper data-communication cabling for his own account. As of Dec. 31, Weschler had overall ownership of 768,500 Optical Cable shares, a stake of 9.99%, he disclosed in a form he filed to the Securities and Exchange Commission on Thursday. As of Sept. 14, he owned 404,000 shares, a stake of 5.25%.
