Share price seems to be inching up and better than average volume. Looks like someone is accumulating the stock. Anyone - with the exception of Appleton, Ron, or Sniperman, have any rational thoughts on why this is happening? I bought shares at $1.10 simply on the price move. Technical chart looks very positive.

Ron, Appleton, and Sniperman, here's your chance to go short. Big volume with strong price move must mean something. Come Tuesday I'm going to start nibbling - maybe 5,000 shares.

It's been months since I've looked at this board and I notice a few new names but also an old time Ron. Ron, do you still own what you call a POS? Actually, after this morning's announcement - $10 million in sales to 2 auto companies - makes me think the new management of Orion doesn't think they're going bankrupt. In any event, I'm getting closer to pulling the trigger after selling some time ago. But Ron, you will never have fresh eyes on Orion until you sell it and watch it. So please sell and do yourself a huge favor.

Orion boasts about cost cutting. All executive management is to have a $50,000.00 per year salary augmented by stock options. Orion makes money, management makes money. Orion fails to make money, management fails to make money.

Still no insider purchase. What does that tell you. Management won't even buy 1000 dollars worth of stock????" Quite sad really.

High volume today. Must be management and the board are buying?

I think it would be quite possible the management team are considering taking the company private. Orion is now too small to be able to carry the cost of being a public company. Restructuring the business (which absolutely needs to happen) to a lower revenue expectation is hard to do in the public eye. Alternatively, it would be time to sell the business and let somebody else quickly restructure the business. 3 more years of timid management action and only slightly incremental improvement of results will just see more cash get burned and ultimately another dilutive equity issue. The business needs a fundamental overhaul, not just tinkering at the edges. By their own admission the business needs $100m of revenue just to break even!

I heard (and saw the slide show) of Orion's annual meeting. And, of course, since the management has almost zero credibility, we must wait to see if their pronouncements pan out. But it may not take to long on one important point: Cost Reduction. The new CEO said that they should be 90% complete on their annual $3.5 to 4.0 million cost reduction program by the end of Q2. That would mean roughly 3/4's of a million in lower costs. If they can achieve that by September's Q2, that would be some achievement. Like the rest of you who are waiting to buy - except for Ron who bought the stock and $8 and has been moaning ever since - it shouldn't to to much of a wait to see if new management really is able to turn this puppy around.

Anyone else notice no insider purchases since the middle of June. Tells the whole story right there!
