I thought that this was one of the most important comments from the conference call:

"Our higher guidance expectations include the latest producer forecasts and drilling plans, and our earnings range also includes the potential impact from a shutdown of the Dakota access pipeline".

If their forecast includes the potential negative impact from shutting down DAPL, which is a worst-case scenario, then it's hard to see them missing guidance in the near future. If DAPL isn't shut down, then they will have plenty of cushion going forward.

President of the United States just admitted that we will have increased inflation this year. OKE might hit record highs if Nat Gas prices spike up in the Fall/winter. No plans to bring inflation down.

Definitely going to look at the stock market in general to see what other inflation plays one can make. June is peak travel so just 1 month to add a new investment, maybe an ETF in the oil sector? Maybe a construction materials play? Everything construction is spiking even lumber has a shortage. Going to be a crazy year or two.

I have been watching this company for a couple of years and fortunate to add heavily to an initial position through last year. Great counter balance to other positions with much higher beta. Good management, good div cover (1.59 and poised to improve with continued debt management), high additional revenue potential (more derived from partially completed projects to come on line requiring low additional capex), high liquidity, strong demand for foreseeable future, well positioned for administration’s future outlook on energy,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,oh and the divi is nice.
Slow and steady though I am ecstatic seeing a double within a year.

By the relative sanity of the board it’s evident that most have been in the market for some time, have other holdings and are not pumping to the moon desperate for profit. Contrary points of view are considered as opposed to instantly offended as if their wife or child was called ugly. Addressing weakness and pitfalls are important when formulating and executing a plan from DD and others’ educated opinions.

Happy to see a positive ER to solidify my stance and continue to add. Cannot see selling this in the med (3-5yrs) term however the case is being made to perhaps hold much longer as market gains settle and more “normal” trading is seen.

OKE had not published a balance sheet in their EPS PR... so I was wondering with both KMI and EPD having significant debt reductions... I said what about OKE...

So the 10-Q balance sheet indicates a $600 million reduction in debt... debt now $13.6 B down from $14.2 Billion... thats debt reduction of 4.2% in a single Q👍

But what are the implications... IF guidance comes in mid range at $3.2 Billion... we have 13.6/3.2 = 4.25 (see no insane hype from me)

Thats 4.25 debt leverage folks👍.... pretty darn good... given what we were staring at at the height of Covid hysteria

BTW... they hit high end guidance and you have leverage of 4 flat👍 (OK gave a peek at the insane hype #)

4/23/21. “When I listen to the oil people talk, I get the kind of positive vibe that I haven’t heard in ages. With prices up and costs down, I think these two companies (ExxonMobil & Chevron) could surprise to the upside,” Cramer said. OKE: we're on our way to $70.

Looks like they're buying into earnings, could be a beat. Load up now or regret it.

Interesting that everybody refers to the winter storm and that may have had some impact to the earnings. However, I live in Tulsa County (OKE) and my gas bill was the same, $49 for January and right at the same for February and March. During that cold spell I was burning a massive amount of gas in my fireplace all day and late into the evening and kept the temperature in my 1800 sq ft. house at a comfortable 74 degrees. No change from last year. A lot of other people that I talked to did not experience any real change from the previous year either so not sure how much income was due to cold weather. I expected to get hit hard and nothing. Interesting.

In 2/2020 this stock reached $78. Now that the Capex investments are complete shouldn't earnings grow to bigger numbers than 2019?

Crushed it. But major drop after hours. I give up. Forward guidance is excellent. Profit per share major beat. I don’t know what the market is looking for anymore.

This is my take... they upped the guidance....

Basically adj EBITDA to $3-$3.4 Billion...

They come in mid range at $3.2 Billion and leverage is 4.55...

Cant be unhappy with that... outside possibility of small incremental divi increases moving forward if guidance stays on track...

Not a big time investor here. I know diddly about the ebb and flows of stocks. I pretty much buy and hold and have had this in my portfolio for over 15 years just reinvesting my dividends. And although this stock got crushed during the Pandemic, I didn't panic and sell. While its not at 70 something before Pandemic it has slowing been gaining momentum. I love Oneok and I especially love when its in the green, like today.
