Results for 2021 are very encouraging! B/S condition is strong, with real loan growth (not PPP) and margin very likely superior to peers, as more reporting is disclosed. Loans and margin will drive Earnings in 2022
And should boost stock price higher as Fed finally gets around to advance interest rates.
    Bullish

This bank is profitable, pays a reasonable dividend, is growing and may be a buyout candidate at some point. Other than the risks associated with any bank I feel good about ORRF.

Very encouraging year 2020 results for Orrstown! And highly likely to crush the results compared to local peers! Efficiency initiatives are now becoming Earnings...at last!

A good surprise 2Q2020 EPS of $0.58 per share, when Zacks was predicting an EPS of $0.34 per share. The $0.17 per share dividend was also a surprise. This stock may actually see $30 per share again someday...LOL!

I only use this bank for service that's free. Anything else across the street' is a better deal...

There has to be more to this 6% story. I couldn't get 1/10% more on a CD to match the bank across the street. So we walked, and never came back. Were only talking interest under 2 %.....

Just bought a couple of 13 month CD's at 2.68%. It's a special rate offer that is very attractive for the short time frame. The bank officer I dealt with said it has been generating a lot of business.

This bank holding just announced a merger with Mercersburg Financial Corporation, which is about one tenth their size. I am a shareholder in Mercersburg Financial Corporation and should be very happy about this, because Orrstown Financial is making a very generous offer. However, two things keeping bothering me about the merger. First I have been sending e-mails to the ORRF Investor relations people trying to get an annual report sent to me. They have completely ignored me. Second, I looked up their last acquisition with a Bank called the National Bank of Newport (in Perry County, Pa.), which was about a decade ago. Since the acquisition, which was the ORRF's introduction to the Perry County Market, ORRF went from the second largest bank in Perry County with approx. 20% of the Parry County Market to being the forth largest bank in the country with approx. 13% market share. These two facts lead me to believe that ORRF's customer service is seriously lacking.

Strange but nice gap up for ORRF on no news. Hmmmm....seems kind of sketchy. Has to be insider loose lips and quiet accumulation. I suspect there's a buyout and merger in the works. ACNB, MTB, PNC???

As I said before, BOD is so out of touch, and stock holders paid dearly for no guilt admitted. A lot of foolish holders forgot the past, and nothing has changed.

Can't say Orrstown Bank has been good for the long term investor. How long has it been that stock holder paid the fines without guilt for Board of directors that a few were about to pee in there pants if found guilty. A small gain since Jan 1st in only 3 weeks this year and bragging like everybody is stupid... Just saying
