So I cast my shareholder votes, Wonder if Saitchuk family will be able to make a change. I think they should have board representation. Where does one find the total common shares reported.?

I was looking for Saitchuk to make news on OSG last year. Maybe this year. Maybe they will install a couple of board members. They have not seen thier orig. $2.80/share purchase price. That must eat at them, in my limited opinion.

Anyone else hearing that the CEO bought over $40,000,000 of his own stock today?

Technically, volatility diminished and volume unusual compared to price movement... might be ready for a move soon imo?
    Bullish

ha ha ha --- keep pumping boys, while management parties in Tampa and Park Ave. Can't wait for the
team to catch on to the reverse splits that are so fashionable for dorment companies.

    This is Overseas Shipholding Grp.
    The same company that declared
bankruptcy in 2013 . At the
    annual meeting just before going
Ch.11 the CEO stated that co. was
working hard in the interest of
the stockholders ... while he was
    overseeing doctoring the books,
looting the company and driving it
into bankruptcy and common shareholders were wiped out.

ok 7 or so tankers coming off charter this year with no real contract renewal. NICE . Expecting Saltchuks to interject anything today was naive on my part. We are stuck again in a wait and see. Transforming the usage of the tankers seems logical but the conversion costs or other I guess just don't add

uhhhhhhh Again here we go riding the coattails of the market and industry up-swing. I wish these guys in Tampa would stop fishing and make some waves here.

OSG reported a positive quarter as Jones Act tanker rates rebounded to $60k/d. Look at pg 7 of their presentation - http://www.osg.com/Cache/1001249578.PDF?O=PDF&T=&Y=&D=&FID=1001249578&iid=4805113
After a weak October, rates began to rise. Expect more positive news as we go through 2019 as several time charters expire and are rolled over at higher rates. As management said, EBITDA and net income could increase by $25 - $35m p.a. for a company which is trading today at less than 5x EV/EBITDA

OK as the article is stating -- traders are securing tankers for possible storage. OSG is scraping a tanker
Can not the scraping be delayed till after the glut, and used for storage. ????
