The $.08 increase over the 2020 rate is certainly not otter-nonsense for this investor, thanks for the increase. Looking forward to the 2020 earnings results on Monday, February 15, and the conference call and webcast on Tuesday, February 16.

I added some more shares of Otter yesterday ($41 range) while listening to the conference call which I thought was an Informative and professional presentation. What an impressive record year in the plastics segment and impressive how nimble OTC was considering the challenges that COVID-19 presented the last year. Amazing that construction and the real estate sectors have been so robust this year.

It was nice to see that Bill Gates gently enlightened Governor Abbott of Texas after he blamed the cold outages on wind turbines and the Green New Deal. Gates stated, “He’s actually wrong.” He mentioned that the main capacity (percentages) that is out in Texas is not the wind but some of the frozen natural gas plants that were not ready for the extremely cold temperatures. Gates also talked about climate change and how more extreme events are coming more often and with more force. Good luck & great investing! “She blinded me with science and failed me in geometry.” – Thomas Dolby

OTTR continues to have a shareholder focus that matches up against the realities of a non-coal energy production capability. Naturally, it never hurts to have Mr. Gate's fund as a long shareholder. The recent announcement regarding the Merricourt wind farm project continues to support OTTR's balanced energy production goals. Buy it, hold it, ignore all the media and market place noise. Find a nice corner in your investment portfolio for OTTR and forget about it. I did, 20 years ago.

This is a very old company based in Minnesota where I was born and raised. It won't make you rich, but you'll be happy you bought it over the long haul.

Great quarter OTTR. The Merricourt Project is now poised to begin contribution to earnings and the renewable story. Add the Hoot Lake solar project into the existing grid and you have two nice wins occuring within the next 12 month earnings run rate. Management has a steady hand on the direction of the Utility and a growing Midwest economy to profit from. Today's 7.16% move was the strongest percentage in my 10 figure portfolio. My grandkids thank you.

Just writing to get something said about this stock. Great stock for the long run. Surprised it is not being mentioned or posted on more.

OTTR has been a solid investment over the past 20 years. You don’t get rich quick owning utilities. But good to have a few shares of utilities in a portfolio

Bad day for the Dow, but utilities holding up well.

I have had OTTR on my investing radar for several years now and have finally (since October) just started buying for our IRAs. The $898 million reinvestment plan for the 2020-2024 period sounds impressive, 34% for upgrading (WOW) transmission and distribution lines. Another nice gem to add to my utilities (ARTNA, YORW, MSEX, UTL) portfolio group. I found an article (Nov 4th) about OTPC in the T&D newsletter site, their site has some good info for the utility investor that wants to get the latest scoop on innovative industry happenings. I really appreciate the postings from some of the long-time investors and especially the investors that live in Minnesota, great/helpful info! Good luck & great investing!

Another all-time high today looks good. Am I seeing all the comments here? Like nothing at all for nearly a year, not even spam. Maybe Yahoo is trying to tell me something.

Parking some retirement money here for safety and a little dividend. OTTR website say ex-div date is 2/13/2020 to be paid on 3/10/2020, but no indication of amount? Assume 35 cents, or they haven't decided whether to raise it yet? Nice OTTR price gain today while utility index fell over a full percentage point. Time already to think about 2019 tax forms and strategy for 2020 election year, or just let chips fall where they may.
