Finally, after couple of years in red, I am seeing green! Should I sell or will it continue to go up? What's the target price?

Seven days ago I made a comment...Simply Wall St. has a fair value on OVV set at $87.53. Today they peg fair value to be $161.31. Due to the price of energy predictibly going much higher in the near term, I can see why they have upped the fair value of this stock. I will be interesting to see at their next earnings call where they are at with their buy-back, debt levels, and share dividends. This is one I am holding strong on and hope to see the new levels reached as energy prices remain strong. Good luck to all who are with me in staying true and holding for a better price .... north of $100.00.

Simply Wall St. has a fair value on OVV set at $87.53. OVV is stated to be undervalued based on the future projected revenue and the paydown of their debt. With energy prices hitting multi year highs and projected to go higher, this stock should be trading at the fair value IMHO. It would be nice to see a special dividend announced with a further dividend increase by the next quarter guidance. Been long this company from the old Encana days and this stock has tested my patience like it may have with many who were in this for so long also. Hopefully we see this move up to the fair market value some of the analysts are projecting sooner than later. Good luck to all the holders out there...nice to see we are hitting new 52 week high mark...but far from where I think we should be based on the energy prices.

It would have increased shareholder value a lot more if they had bought in 10% of the shares at $3 or $10 or $15 or $20. At $36 maybe they should pay off debt and increase dividend. The buyback can be held as tool to be used if shares crater at some point.

You guys should consider PDC Energy its a little gem, I got in early last Yr where I did very well but sold most of it. I've been waiting to get back in and my chance came recently when investors sold off due to some production cuts - 20%, its gained that 10$ back again in no time and its not as twitchy as OVV intra day with a 70$ US target 12mths out - check it out if your big toe is not already dipped!

If they do the 26 million share buy back methodically. Over a 52 week period. That comes out to approximately a 1/2 a million shares per week. With 5 trading days every week that's about a 100000 shares per day. Should prop up the price. Hope all have a swell day John

I don’t know about you guys, but I think it’s time to put limits in.

You know, it seems like companies in general always implement buybacks when their stock is on a tear. I do believe OVV is 50% undervalued, but the stock price now is sky high on a relative basis, that being relative to itself. Assuming the stock will be trading between 30-45 for the next year, is this the time to do that??

E&P Stocks Are Up 85% This Year. These 4 Still Look Like Buys, Morgan Stanley Says.

OVV listed as one of the 4 BEST E&P's to buy!

After a few rough years getting in at Newfield acquisition times, I am finally back in +.. How high do you think we can go?
  • F

Well, if someone wanted to buyout OVV for $40-45 per share, they sure missed their opportunity. This is moving along rapidly. I sure hope their hedges are going to allow the kind of revenue gains that are reflected in the market cap gains.

Although stocks like MTDR and DVN have blown past OVV in recent weeks, I'm hopeful that Q3s balance sheet results will catapult this thing. Analysts keep raising PTs and it always seems to eventually run in tandem with these two stocks👍

After hours the stock price increased 18 cents, but finally it dropped 54 cents. Why does it change so much? Will it affect Monday's price?

High volume with great gains, also recently trending against the market. Anyone else feel like someone is accumulating? Something feels different, and I've traded this stock for 10 years.
