You would think that all the wildfire issues from the last few years would be behind them now and PCG would start their move back upward... I don't get why it's stuck at $10

Expecting volume of 20 Million shares today. I have been consistently wrong in all my predictions on this stock.

This is part of what I posted on the WSB board. Now, all bullish people need to go there and shout TO THE MOON.
PCG is been working hard to safely operate and has added several safety features to minimize fire risk.

    PCG safety features
Installed over 300 weather stations and 137 High Definition Cameras, plan on installing 400 Weather Stations and 200 High Definitions cameras by the end of this year.
This will give them a total of 900 weather stations and 270 HD cameras. Now they can monitor the grid closely for PSPS event (Public Safety Power Shutoffs)
PCG is hardening lines and doing robust vegetation management, cutting trees that might fall on powerlines and spark fires
PCG installing microgrids in remote areas for a handful of customers so they can eliminate several miles of lines that go through the High Fire District to service them. They plan on adding 20 of these microgrid stations in 2021.
PCG Revenues is going to increase dramatically in the next few years
Sold San Francisco HQ for 900 Million and moving to Oakland. This in the long run will save them Billions of dollars.
Licensed 700 Miles of Transmission Towers to SBA Communication for 973 Million and will get part of the future revenues. If 5G is going to play a very crucial role in the future, they have several thousand towers to license and receive royalty payments.
California is going to have over 5 Million Electric vehicles in the state. 250000 charging stations and 10,000 fast chargers. PCG Installed a fast charge EV station in a 7-11 store. They plan on a collaboration with 7-11 stores to install in several thousand stores. This will be equivalent to PCG owing EV stations all over Northern California.. PCG now services 16 Million customers, this is going to add another 2 Million EV cars to their customer base.
PCG stock is selling half the multiple of similar other utilities. The assets are over 90 Billion and liability of 40 Billion, so has a Book Value of 25. I think the wildfire fear is overblown and this rocket is ready for a takeoff.

All these politicians are worried about PG&E. Last year over 4 Million acres were lost due to wildfire. mainly lightning strikes and PG&E share of it was 56338 acres (Zogg's fire ) 1.4 %, What are these guys doing about that.CPUC revokes PG&E 2021 Wildfire plan and they resubmitted a few weeks back a revised plan, they still have not approved it. The Securitization was approved last month, then many jokers TURN, Wild Tree Foundation, and City of San Francisco make very frivolous objections then it is all held up. The bureaucracy in California is so Fk up. PCG is trying their best to take care of business and these AH keep putting obstacles on their way. Stock is beaten up but it is not due to management, it is due to CPUC and Politicians keep poking their noses in this company.

out of our control, this stock price is!

retail investors just have to wait for the manipulators and/or big investors to start buying....and buying for what ever reason they have. manipulators must have some algorithm about the fear of the stock price. maybe it is about the trust and their need to dump their shares at some point. i bet if the manipulators get a sense that the trust is going to sell.....or get insider information about the trust sale...., they will short sell big time.....then drive it back up a bit.

i wish the trust was forced to dump their shares by a certain date and get this behind us.....but NO.

the part time trust employees are happy to drag this out as long as possible so they can keep earning $1,000 per hour.

this company is fine....not perfect....but still a sound investment at these low prices......in the long run
    Bullish

I believe our P/E ratio will suddenly turn positive after the next earnings. Once that happens, true value will appear, instead of this punishment for being a lawsuit servicer and emerging from bankruptcy. Nope, tech, unicorns, all that jazz needs good ole electricity, and we know it.

New Remote Microgrid Replaces Traditional Electric Poles and Wires, Reducing Wildfire Risk for PG&E Customers in High Fire-Threat Area

Mariposa County Remote Grid is PG&E’s First Such Deployment, Others in Development

BRICEBURG, Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)-- Today, Pacific Gas and Electric Company (PG&E ( PCG

)) marked the commissioning of its first hybrid renewable standalone power system, built and installed by BoxPower Inc. The remote grid permanently replaces the overhead distribution powerlines that once served a handful of customers in a High Fire-Threat District (HFTD) area of the Sierra Nevada foothills outside Yosemite National Park, improving reliability and significantly reducing wildfire risk.

As detailed in PG&E’s 2021 Wildfire Mitigation Plan, a stand-alone power system offers a new approach to utility service. The Briceburg system uses solar combined with battery energy storage and backup propane generation. It provides permanent energy supply to remote customers as an alternative to hardened poles and wires.

The approach has potential use in other areas as well. Throughout PG&E’s service area, isolated pockets of remote customers are served via long electric distribution lines that in many cases traverse through HFTD areas. Replacing these long distribution lines with a reliable and low-carbon local energy source is an innovative option that has now become feasible.

“PG&E is eager to deliver the benefits of remote grids to our customers, and we intend to expand the use of stand-alone power systems as an alternative to certain existing distribution lines, providing enhanced reliability with a lower risk profile and at a lower total cost,” said Jason Glickman, PG&E’s Executive Vice President, Engineering, Planning and Strategy.

San Francisco's latest fight with PG&E centers on changes to wholesale electric rates & terms that the city says could cost $1B+. it's fueling some renewed interest from city leaders in taking over PG&E's local poles and wires:

CPUC did not approve the PG&E Wildfire mitigation plan for 2021. They gave them a month to come up with a revised plan. Here is PG&E's revised plan, now let us hope CPUC approves this soon.

CBS News Item: "Mega-drought in West means threat of extreme fire season. By almost any measure the drought in the Western states this year is about as bad as we've ever seen — perhaps the worst in modern history. A severe lack of rainfall over the past two years, combined with a steadily heating climate, has turned California into a tinderbox, setting the stage for what will likely be a catastrophic fire season ahead."

New week starting and PCG might be getting ready to pop a little bit... chart short-term bullish and medium-term maybe breaking the downward trend... if we break 10,6 area today we might go past 11 and beyond...

fire-season news and scares should still be the main issue limiting buying interest and upward movement... CPUC confirmation of the fire-mitigation plan could give a big jump up...
