This stock is a long long term hold. It took VR almost 30 years to gain traction..what makes you think 3D printing is different? We're not ready for it. This is a buy and hold until at least 2040

This ETF has basically been trading sideways since March and is due for a breakout. Long-term, this may be the he best ARK ETF of the bunch.

Just added this morning after watching a podcast from ARK Investments. I have looked at PRNT in the past but it seemed at the time 3D printing was still not catching on. Fast forward to today 3D printing is just starting to be huge in the medical field. I watched a guy that essentially had no face and with 3D printing they put back his bone construction and the result was amazing. Die and tool casting will fast become obsolete. Aerospace and automotive sectors will be huge as 3D printing replaces casting. Add in the use of AI into 3D printing and I think this sector will explode. I believe this is the ETF to be in now and it is still early to get a position. Just my two cents, all the best to everybody.

I like this sector and plan to buy this ETF, just wish it was an actively managed fund rather than an index fund. ARK Management does an excellent job picking stocks, but that doesn't happen with an index fund.

Ever since i got this ETF ists done nothing but drop. I know this is a good industry to invest in but maybe not this specific ETF which is surprising because ARKs items are usually solid

Amazing potential in the future. While no one knows when it will truly take of, it is a buy and forget ETF. If you got 5-10 year outlook i think you will do very well.

Does anyone realize this ETF is well on it's way to a 300+% gain by this time next year? And with the industrial/aviation giants jumping on board weekly, it might go much higher. 28% gain since Jan 1st!

What do you guys think investing in PRNT vs DM vs NNDM? Would PRNT be a better investment option when compared to the other 2 since it’s not just limited to the performance of a single company?

IF the ARK team does not really actively manage this ETF, then they are not looking for opportunities. That is what concerns me. There is a huge future in 3D printing but if ARK is not paying attention opportunities will me missed.

I bought this etf at the high. It’s a shame to see it drop but any ETF is a long term hold. No worries

3D printing has been trying to leap from Prototyping to manufacturing for years. If they can do that they are on their way to explosive growth. I work in the medical industry and I am finally seeing 3D printed parts in instruments. To get an injection molded part is a minimum of $10K for the mold and $$$ to change the mold. If you have a low volume instrument 3D printing makes sense. Also we will ship a small plastic part around the world to support a instrument in the field. Local vendor could print out the same part in an hour and save time and money. The problem is 3D printing has been the technology of the future for 30 years. Maybe its time has finally come

Funny thing. I have had a Prusa 3D printer and I print things for work all the time now. I have actually designed better parts and can print them out at a fraction of the cost. The funny thing with tooling is you can now walk into our labs and see my tooling on instruments used by other engineers because people ask me where I got those.

    I am out.

Average was 40... ( been holding it since November)

SPY has not even had a market correction yet and this ETF was trending sideways up until the pandemic.

Wishing you all the luck guys.

Added more when we went under $48. This whole sector will finally start to blossom this year after a few years of stagnation. YTD 45% will seem nothing when we get mid-year when things start heating up.

Weird, why is 3D printing suddenly all the rage??

Is there an ARK fund for cannabis and psychedelic medicine? It seems like a hot sector.
