Bought more @ $7.90, $7.80, $7.70, & $7.60.
The meant what I said a couple of months ago. I’m happy enough just collecting the dividend. Share price comes & goes. Don’t sweat it.
Nice come back yesterday and today is starting out strong. The selling was overdone based on a neutral financial report.
Earnings out. NAV increases 5% to $9.38 per share. Dividends remain at $0.06 through August. What's not to like?
An incredible buying op here....NAV $9.38/share....dividends payable through Sept???????? Who sold below $8??????????????
This one is on sale today. I wish I knew why the large drop today post earnings. It was not a bad report for a BDC. Is it the large amount of individual investors who have jumped in here looking for a dividend payday? ...... Getting close to my entry point but not there yet.
I just got into this stock. Do they pay a monthly dividend or is it quarterly?
Does anyone know when shares are added to your account after last ex dividend. New to the DRIP process. I know the actual monetary dividend is added weeks after but thought shares were bought and in your account sooner.
That NAV , wow. DIVI needs to rise to boost shares to 10.00. This is lowest yield since inception? Shareholders should be getting double digits either in yield or pps
(PSEC) reported fiscal third-quarter net income of $246.4 million, after reporting a loss in the same period a year earlier.
The New York-based company said it had profit of 64 cents per share. Earnings, adjusted for investment gains, came to 19 cents per share.
The business development company posted revenue of $159.5 million in the period.
Bought back 2000 sh last week at $7.65, sold today at $8. Small $700 profit, but that is almost 6 months worth of dividends right up front. This is a stock that will make you more money by buying and selling than just holding and doing nothing. I remember when I first owned this stock and the dividend was 11 cents. That was sweet, but never to be seen again I think. GLTA
own a lot of psec - negative basis - love the drip - will never sell
many large BDC trading at premium to NAV. PSEC is most likely headed there too!
Im not 100% comprehending this proxy vote situation. why would I want the company to be able to sell shares at a price lower than its value? seems like a no brainer to vote against unless I'm not seeing another side of it
Been buying since Oct 2020. Up over 20% on my cumulative purchases. Won't complain or play dividend harvest.
Man the market is dropping faster than a fat kid on a seesaw!! I bought in PSEC @ $4 a share.... And this is a hard one for me... I just have a feeling that it's going to go back to $8+. And as they say the market is 90% research 10%intuition....
value is pps, discount of new shares is to nav, not current pps. not uncommon for bdc to issue shares at discount to nav.
Well this was not the anticipated result of an earnings beat.
One can only shudder at what a miss would have precipitated.
I looked at this around six-months ago...it was only $5.00. I should have pulled the trigger!
PSEC is currently trading at a discount (.91) of the NAV. Hope someday to see it trade at a premium to the NAV.
Today we have our expected .06 ex-div drop. Light volume so perhaps not as many playing “dividend harvest” as I expected.
