Having this in the kids accounts and running a 50 year return calculation for them is a good feeling

Just because it was a topic of discussion a bit ago; I certainly enjoyed waking up to find my DRIP shares “purchased” @ $7.0015 were selling @ $7.40. Closed @ $7.51.

Great company, I was very long, now I am underweight the stock. I would like to add in around 7 or lower.

With today's closing price of $7.37, shares issued through the DRIP through DTC program should be priced at $7.001 when they're issued next week.

with libor rising and large percent floating rate loans, plus more preferred sold and invested, in addition to underleveraged balance sheet, the dividend is going to be raised in a quarter or 2! 7 cents here we come.

@dan I'm trying to understand does that mean any shares after June 27th won't be counted towards my July dividends. thank you

Dan.. one of the reasons I am not full to the gills here is the "credit rating" which IMHO is way too low given the quality of the company and the acumen of the management. The stock is worth more immediately if it was rated properly, a higher investment grade. Lets say the bozo's in the credit rating agency go the other way? Also, lets say that NAV (which to me is meaningless) is marked down in recession simply because il-liquid assets are marked to market independently. The idiots following and rating the stock don't realize that the NAV does not mean much; it is really the default rate which is very minimal due to good management. To me, you make money when you buy something - and the price is a little too damn high presently.

Guys I’m looking in PSEC for the long term. Over the max years chart it’s just been declining isn’t that bad for future reference?

With the markets closed on Monday, June 20th, today's closing price of $6.78 sets a share price of $6.441 for everyone in the DRIP through DTC program for next week's dividend.

If you look at the charts, PSEC (technically) has room to head lower.
I think if you are holding this long term and adding consistently (I purchase on a monthly basis AND have the div reinvest) I think this is a MASSIVE winner over the long run.
    Bullish
