Why will Taylor Farms spend $12 million a year to add PURE Control when they already have an award winning disinfectant for lettuce processing? In 2008-2009, 9 people died and 714 people fell ill due to food poisoning after eating salmonella contaminated peanut products that were processed by Peanut Corporation of America. The contamination triggered the most extensive food recall in U.S. history involving 46 states, more than 360 companies, and more than 3,900 different products. In response to this and other tainted food incidents, President Obama signed the Food Safety Modernization Act (FSMA) into law in 2011. On Nov. 13, 2015, after many adjustments to the wording, the FDA released the final "Produce Rule" and this was effective for many farms after one year. Under FSMA, FDA imposed new rules for produce producers to follow to prevent contamination. FDA can now order a recall of tainted foods rather than make a suggestion. FDA also authorized the creation of a food tracking system to quickly pinpoint the source of outbreaks. The result was a fundamental shift in the FDA's approach to food safety from being reactionary to foodborne illness outbreaks to its prevention. The produce processors are now responsible for making food safer. If their food is tainted, they face costly recalls and possibly the loss of their operating license. Similarly in the poultry industry, the USDA published its final rule of its Modernization of Poultry Slaughter Inspection on August 1, 2014. PURE will benefit from all these new regulations. In produce, PURE Control showed a 100-fold pathogen reduction over current practices for E. coli, Salmonella, and Listeria. For poultry, it showed the potential to reduce Salmonella to below detectible levels. Currently, there are three more produce processors testing Pure Control. With tougher regulations, our food supply becomes safer foods and revenue will continue to grow for PURE. It’s time to buy and hold.

PURE made high of $63.68 on 9-30-07 and a low of .37 on 5-31-13. All markets retrace! It is a fact......usually around 50% is common. A Fibonacci retracement somewhat lower. 50% retracement is about $32/share and Fibonacci is about $21/share. No indeed not. Don't sell your PURE shares yet! Krispy Kreme doughnuts made the same retracement years ago after everyone had them buried and gone. Just like they say...........Patience is a ........! For sure.

When Taylor Farms convert to use PURE's SDC solution, their employees who wash the lettuce will no longer be smelling chlorine in their processing plants. SDC does not have any smell.

Don't sell your shares of PURE! Chipotle accounts for only a small portion of their future revenue. The revenue will be coming from Taylor Farms at $1 million per produce processing facility. Taylor Farms will be rolling out SDC to all twelve of their processing plants this year. This is a potential of $12 million in revenue. Watch a Taylor Farms on Youtube and you'll understand how salads across America is washed and processed.
