I was a buyer yesterday for the first time in something like 2 years. Due to several factors including the FAA announcement, the allocation of funds to capital purchases, the move of Chen to CoB, the Lighthouse deal, and a lot of what Dave is saying regarding janitorial demand coming back is exactly what I'm reading, I pulled the trigger. I will call it nibbling, nothing that will change my life style. The stock if so freakin cheap it's hard to get hurt financially, I just quit betting on the NFL and college FB and plowed it into Pure 🤣😂😉 I think the odds are better.

@w…check out the PR on the Smartwash Solutions web site regarding One Harvest Australia.

Maybe Dave has an Australian accent ?

@w, is your abstinence from NFL betting because you saw Da Bears start Andy Dalton in lieu of Fields? Will you be taking your Pure Bio winnings off the table and go back to the NFL when Fields gets the starting job ?

5 days ago I wrote the paragraph below, a couple days later Dave chimed in with the buy buy buy scream. I seriously doubt Dave has direct, leaked, inside information. It would be awfully dumb to scream buy on the info he posted if it was direct, corporate leaked info......for 2 reasons. No one from the company would ever talk to him again and he would be putting himself and the inside person at some risk. I think we all can agree Pure is as tight lipped with info as any company I've been around. Therefore, it's possible I was correct below, Dave may know someone who has or personally has access to a 3rd party outside Pure who sees the writing on the wall.

Surely the buyer knows something or thinks he /she knows something. Did you ever think it could be a partner/distributor/supplier? It easily could be someone knowledgeable from purchasing the product, applying the product, contracts, etc. Since Pure dispersus information like it's North Korea I would find that scenario as or more likely than insider info.

Study Shows Significant Reduction of Foodborne Illness Risk in Leafy Greens with SmartWash Boost™ Pretreatment
Study Shows Significant Reduction of Foodborne Illness Risk in Leafy Greens with SmartWash Boost Pretreatment
SmartWash Solutions®, a produce industry leader in fresh cut food safety, continues to provide revolutionary advancements to mitigate foodborne illness risk. A recent study presented by the USDA-ARS has shown the company’s SmartWash Boost™ product, a patent-pending process aid used to pretreat iceberg and romaine lettuces prior to washing, increases lethality and accelerates the death of E. coli during cold storage. This pretreatment combines Pure BioSciences’ Silver Dihydrogen Citrate (SDC) technology and SmartWash Solutions chemistry to "boost" established free chlorine wash process lethality and increase E. coli die-off by more than 0.7 log.

"The fully integrated Boost control system can be added on to any standard wash system. This novel application and chemistry have been used commercially and is available to the fresh cut market today," said Steven Swarts, director of business development at SmartWash Solutions. "This tool provides the additional incremental lethality needed to drastically reduce the potential for foodborne illness when coupled with SmartWash Solutions’ industry-leading wash system’s cross contamination control. This is a huge win for companies seeking to prevent recalls, protect their brand and assure consumer trust and safety."

At the end of October, SmartWash Solutions entered the next stage in launching this product, as research findings were shared by the USDA-ARS team as a scientific poster at the 2020 International Association for Food Protection (IAFP) annual meeting. "We have spent hundreds of hours working in our pilot plant to design the best wash system for cut products. We are excited to receive third party results that reinforce our internal studies, proving significant incremental lethality in the process," Swarts added. This report from the USDA evaluates the efficacy of the new pretreatment process and solution, SmartWash Boost™. The technical details are available in the links below:

@b - it's too early to report why B, don't get your shorts in a bunch. From the looks of it (IMHO) Lee hasn't given up anything, he's still CEO and far and away Pure's largest shareholder. Lee can fire Chen tonight if he chooses. It's a separation of duties which I fully support, it has me excited. If this move is not health related, I tend to believe it's to facilitate SIGNIFICANT contractual agreements. Chen's background is perfect to lead and negotiate big deals. And his communications are much better than Tom Lee's. No offense intended to Tom Lee, it's a fact. Lee can focus on the day to day operation which I'm sure has plenty of challenges to take up all his time. Suiters and deal makers want to deal with the person "who can sign the check", deal making takes a lot of time and focus. Chen is perfectly set up to lead that piece of the business. The more I thought about this move the more I applaud it and it has renewed my enthusiasm for the stock.

The price action this week and crazy Dave's contention regarding mucho contracts gives credence to my theory Chen's appointment to CoB was to negotiate contracts/deals and a lot of them. I theorized Lee will focus on day to day operations. So I am optimistic what he's yelling could be true, I'm just not sold. It could be we're just gaining back some of the "oversold price position" from the weeks of panic selling. So let's not fall into a trap, Dave could be pumpin for all we know. I don't trust people who don't post support to their remarks. Lastly, who cares if someone knows something we don't, I could care less, I just hope they know something GOOD. 👌😁

I was reading that Tyson Foods opened a brand new poultry processing facility in Tennesse, the first new facility that they’ve built in 25 years. This facility is intended to process poultry for the consumer market; Covid having increased the consumption of poultry in consumer homes vs restaurants and fast food operators.

You’ll recall that Tyson had a multi million pound poultry recall for Listeria concerns some months ago.

What are the chances that A brand new facility, for a company that recently had quality/safety concerns might start using what we all consider the “gold” standard for food safety processing aids?

Lee had to give up some power. No longer chairman of the board. See 8k but not much there.
