(AFG) announced today that it is changing the way it defines the components of its core annuity operating earnings, beginning with the reporting of its second quarter 2019 financial results. Going forward, AFG’s core annuity operating earnings will exclude the impact of items that are not necessarily indicative of operating trends, such as: the impact of fair value accounting for fixed-indexed annuities (FIAs), unlockings, and other items related to changes in the stock market and interest rates.
American Financial Group, Inc. (AFG) today announced that its commercial transportation specialist, National Interstate, has entered into an agreement with Atlas Financial Holdings, Inc. (AFH) to become the exclusive underwriter of AFH’s paratransit book of business.
