    First Trust RBA Quality Income ETF Changes Name, Investment Objective, Ticker Symbol and Management Fee Effective September 6, 2018

    On September 6, 2018, First Trust RBA Quality Income ETF (QINC) (the “Fund”), an exchange-traded index fund and a series of First Trust Exchange-Traded Fund VI (the “Trust”), will change its investment objective to seek investment results that correspond generally to the price and yield (before the Fund’s fees and expenses) of an index called the Dorsey Wright Momentum Plus Dividend Yield Index (the “New Index”). In connection with that change, under normal conditions, the Fund will invest at least 90% of its net assets (including investment borrowings) in equity securities comprising the New Index. Effective September 6, 2018, the Fund’s name will change to First Trust Dorsey Wright Momentum & Dividend ETF, and the Fund will reduce its annual management fee payable by the Fund to First Trust Advisors L.P. (“FTA”), the Fund’s investment adviser, from 0.70% of the Fund’s average daily net assets to 0.60% of the Fund’s average daily net assets.
