Front Yard Residential Corporation (“Front Yard” or the “Company”) (RESI) announced today that its Board of Directors has declared a quarterly cash dividend of $0.15 per share of common stock. Front Yard will pay this quarterly dividend on October 12, 2018 to all stockholders of record as of the close of business on September 28, 2018. Front Yard is an industry leader in providing quality, affordable rental homes to America’s families.

Front Yard will make an upfront payment of $15 million to Altisource with an additional $3 million to be paid upon the earlier of (1) five years, or (2) a Change of Control of Front Yard. Activist hedge fund Snow Park Capital Partners LP is preparing a slate to replace directors on the board of residential real estate investment trust (REIT) Altisource Residential Corp., people familiar with the matter said on Thursday. The move follows private talks in which Snow Park unsuccessfully pushed Altisource Residential to revisit its portfolio management agreement with its external manager, Altisource Asset Management Corp, the sources said. Snow Park has told Altisource Residential that the agreement with Altisource Asset Management erodes shareholder returns and causes Altisource Residential's stock to trade at a substantial discount to the value of its real estate, the sources added.
