    B. Rily has a large interest and has loaned this company Cadiz $50 million as debt at 7% .... this is a big risk for them as CDZI is about to go to court and lose ....see below. about CDZI $13.50 8/31/2021 ,,, RILY has tied themselves in a big way to a company that could be chapter 11 very soon when this court case in LA goes against them...

The unorthodox approval process for the plan to draft billions of gallons of water from the East Mojave Desert’s pristine aquifer for use in Los Angeles, Orange and Riverside counties, utilizing a governmental entity more than 200 miles removed from the property to be impacted which simultaneously had a financial and operational interest in the project, fueled questions about the integrity and legitimacy of the environmental certification of the project. Ultimately, those questions formed the basis of several of eleven lawsuits which kept Cadiz, Inc. tied up in court for years. Though the company was able to prevail in most of those suits, which it succeeded in having removed to Orange County Superior Court, appeals on some of those suits are yet proceeding, even as Cadiz, Inc. is hoping to at last put those challenges behind it and get on with the project. The company, in both its Cadiz Land Company and Cadiz, Inc. manifestations, has never operated at a profit in its 31 years of existence. It has sustained itself with capital provided by wave after wave of investors. With each successive infusion of capital, the company has intensified its promotion of the project, accompanied by an immediate or gradual rise in stock price. But as the project has continued to languish, the stock price has periodically fallen, only to be revived by further rounds of investment. This perpetual rise and fall of the company’s stock price has sparked comparisons to a Ponzi scheme. With investors becoming increasingly nervous

Anyone have an idea what has happened that this was in the $70s and now under $60? I think it is a deal here. Insider buying, low PE. Is it because the SPAC mania has subsided? Reorgs slowed down? Thanks.

Great stock!! Great dividends and future growth is very bright. Bought my first 100 shares on a whim at 52 week high of 29.50. Wished had bought much more but I have bought more along the way well up in high 60’s and sold and bought back!! Just too good not to have in portfolio!!! And predicted 145% return still. This company is very well managed!!!

I'm super bullish over the next 18-36 months. P/E is less than 4, revenue has been growing fast for several years, earnings growth is exploding, and there are currently ZERO analysts covering the stock. I honestly expect a 10 fold return within five years, possibly sooner. And the company has a venture capital arm and the founder has bought shares for himself and his children's custodial accounts recently. The shakeout is real though. Make a decision to be in for the long-term if you want to prosper on this one. Nothing is guaranteed, though, make your own decisions after doing your research
    Bullish

Is the commitment to buy up to 46MM shares of AHT a big risk factor for RILY?

I just "found" this stock last weekend while reading something about Babcock and Wilcox (BW). Why aren't more folks on this company?? It's one of the strongest stocks I've come across in a long time--rising revenues AND earnings, nice EPS, nice dividend, nice P/E, nicely funded, sensible acquisitions, an experienced management team with past successes . . . What's not to like??

These guys have said their net income for 2020 will be about 7.25/share, more than double 2019’s amount
Even at a 10 p/e this should be in the 70’s
Too simplistic? What am I missing?
