Solid quarter, earnings cover the dividend. What is of some concern is the level of debt. The debt level is increasing at a rate lower than revenue growth which is OK in a low interest rate environment. Once the BOC decides to pump the brakes on inflation, this will create a vulnerability. That said, it is a staple product that will easily be able to pass on inflation costs to consumers.

I don't get it.Why did the price go up after the earnings call? Does not sound like good future based on what the CFO said during the earnings call, which undoubtedly were painted with a rosy brush: "Free cash flow for the trailing 12 months decreased by $11.4 million versus the comparable period last year. and Volume expectations for the current year are anticipated to be approximately 6,000 metric tons lower than last year despite producing approximately 60,000 metric tons less than planned in Taber as a result of beet early harvest termination. We continue to expect that export segment should decrease by approximately 15,000 metric ton". Sounds like more likely another bad year, with continued risk to the dividend. What am I missing?

Is anyone else concerned with the massive gap between revenue and net income? As of Sept 2020, revenue was $860M but net income was only $35M. Cost of revenue was $734M! That seems.... very high.
