Earnings were very good and with interest rates rising SAN should do well.

Well.........I am glad they are finally Cancelling the shares they BUY. What's the point of buying shares from the open Market and holding them in treasury? It must be to just give them to employees. I am going to start paying attention to Outstanding shares of Santander to see if they really Reduce them the 10%. They have been busy buying shares in the Open Market. They bought 76.569M for the week ending 5/6/21. They report purchases weekly so go to nasdaq, get quote, look at sec filings, they're labeled 6-k.

Santander bought 286,309,445 shares so that should reduce the 17.341B shares to very close to 17B.......I guess they are gonna continue this dividend and buyback policy. I would prefer just buybacks and debt reduction because of the Huge ADR fee.

This might be a difficult question to answer, but how does this stock go from 22.34 in 2007 to 2.69 in 2022?

Dividend reinvested at $2,81. San will be stuck below $2.81 for now. Only the ADR sponsor makes the bank.

Bought more today, my average price is 2.96, which is what it closed at. I have 100k shares, figured let me get the dividend, plus this stock should be at a minimum of $5, just my opinion. Best to the Board!

Get rid of non-performing assets, get rid of the head count by the same token, get rid of the meaningless dividend which does cost us (ADR) use the proceeding to retire at lease 2B shares of the market so we can see some lights and be hopeful!!

Looks like another rough day for SAN, despite very good earnings, a few upgrades no appreciation.

As of this morning I checked my TD account and have not received any dividend, maybe by end of the day.
