A trader earns regardless of market fluctuations, I started investing using Brian Scott signals in June of last year, he shared his commercial techniques and helped me achieve my goals and now the profit rate is exponential. TeIegram> @Brianfxtrade

$40B in subprime autoloans, ouch. Think of the effect if only a small number of people default. Well at least they can repossess and sell their cars right? Ouch again, the use car market is going to be in the dumps. This stock is down big but you would have to be insane to bet on it right now.

US GDP could shrink by 13% in the 2nd quarter, Deutsche Bank says. Sales at Santander Consumer USA $SC will plummet. The company sells high-interest loans and people are not working. They cannot afford the payments. A 20% increase in unemployment will drive Santander Consumer USA into bankruptcy.

    $SAN conversation
So how long until $SAN buys out $SC? And on a related note, has the relationship between SC and Fiat-Chrysler improved? There was talk there about Fiat going its own way last year.

@@@"Santander Consumer is off to a good start in 2019," said Scott Powell, SC President and CEO, who is also CEO of Santander US. "Our strategy has continued to show results as we increased year-over-year originations for a fifth consecutive quarter. Our overall performance was driven by a sustained focus on operations and dealer experience, as well as the strength of our partnership with Fiat Chrysler."

@@@Loan and lease originations at Santander Consumer USA's Chrysler Capital unit climbed in the third quarter as talks with Fiat Chrysler Automobiles about the automaker's plan to create its own finance arm continue, Santander said last week. Loan originations through Chrysler Capital rose 34 percent to $2.4 billion, and Chrysler Capital lease originations surged 73 percent to $2.9 billion, Santander said.

Stated income subprime lending the same reason for the 2007 mortgage crisis is now falling rapidly. The company has done a stock offering, running out of cash, as they are lending on car loans where borrowers cannot afford the high cost. $5,000 loan cost the consumer $10,000 how is this legal? Massachusets and Delaware state attorneys have won class-action lawsuits for high-cost loans to borrowers that could not pay the loans.

They are a solid company and 2018 net earnings were practically double that of the previous year. EPS is up and the Fed is basically pumping up the banks right now as well. All these factors are optimistic. But those are only a few factors that affect stock price.

Hey T. Good time to short this train wreck? I believe I'm back to placing some puts on this, but not sure if I will do it before earnings next week.

    From Financial Times
Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac, the government-controlled companies that guarantee nearly half of US mortgages, could require their second bailout in just over a decade if the US economy remains in a lockdown for several months, their regulator has warned.
