Results make no sense. Revs up 15% but adj EBITDA only up 7.1% and net income DOWN -8.7% while EPS up 1.9%.....

Company doesn't even include a full P&L (like 99% of companies do) in their earnings release.

    What are they hiding?

I don't think that SEAS has another 10% in gains in it. Looks pretty bad here. I actually found (http://Achieverspot.tech) the other day and their stocks are way better...

WMT just had a disastrous quarter because food is so expensive that shoppers don't have any money left over for other non-food purchases. You think there is going to be money in the household budget to go to SEAS and other amusement parks when there is not even money for household essentials?

The analyst target is $54. Are they on drugs? It might reach $54 before it goes back to $25 lol. but it should be a longer term assessment.

Well they borrowed a ton of money quite cheaply and are sitting on a lot of cash. Not going bankrupt any time soon.

For a comparable like SIX (Six Flags), 2018 EPS was $3.50 and trading around $70 at the time. P/E => 20

For SEAS, 2019 EPS was $1.10 and traded around $25-$35. Average analyst 2023 EPS estimates are $3.39.
So I guess that's where we get the analyst estimates. However, that was before the declining birth rate news.

Short at $53.50 and held through the $57 high. From a technical perspective, it would be nice to see a gap fill at $43.50 where there was hardly any volume. Maybe then I will close out my short position. Good luck.

sea world is higher now than prior to pandemic and sea world parks still CLOSED.
When and if opened, at what capacity and how many people will shop and dine there.
Stock is acting like there is no pandemic.

This stock is emblematic of a fascinating phenomenon in today's market whereby some investors flock to undeniably frothy stocks. Let's say bulls end up being right and somehow SEAS management does everything right and miraculously get earnings to justify the current stock price a couple of years from now. How exactly does this (slim) possible future scenario justify piling into this stock now of all stocks? Is there really a bull on this discussion forum who seriously thinks SEAS is the cheapest stock right now, or at least one with the best risk/reward ratio? Guys, if you are not shorting SEAS that's totally fine, but do yourself a favor and pick a better stock to buy. Take a good look in the mirror and ask yourself if you aren't in this stock for emotional rather than rational reasons.

Do people not know or understand summer is over? Seas is no longer operating full time and many parks will soon be shut down for the winter, but yet the stock price is still going up like the parks are full and open 24/7 . Seas still has a mountain of debt they took on to stay afloat during the covid shutdown to pile on top of the debt they already pre covid.
