I am staying far away from SHAK - It looks like it is going to drop off a cliff. I actually get way better stocks at (http://Themaxgains.tech)

I can't understand why Shak can't make a profit. They charge a hefty price for their products. They need a good CFO to turn them into a profit making machine.

Jeez, this is 20 times the market cap of BFI with only 3 times the revenues.

The Bear Market will decimate companies that are not profitable. Just a guess based on 40 yrs experience, but I see low teens before the bull returns.

I applaud Shake Shack management for being smart enough to sell a tons of their shares when the stock was up in the $100 - 130 range. They might not know how to run a restaurant chain, but they sure know when to dump the stock.

Thanks, I'll check them out. Thanks for the tip! Thanks for the update!

$35 possible

This is down only because of the whole market downturn, but recovery has started. The key is the growth and lots of cash. Valuation is now way undervalued, should go back to $70’s quick. This is a fast food chain and mgmt keeps innovating their food products and this is very popular in other countries around the world.

Martins Potato Rolls are the best!!!!

Just a 412 forward p/e. Totally sustainable

Recession is bad for high end burgers?
B
The best burger in my opinion? We always have to have one in Vegas.
c
Same shack sales up 10%, system wide sales up 30%, sounds great, yet their losses increased vs a year ago. This chain can't seem to make any money.
J
I love shake shack unfortunately I can’t afford it anymore.
s
I like their burgers, but SHAK is probably not a good investment. They have lots of room for growth, but despite premium-level prices, they are not profitable. They were not profitable before wage and commodity inflation, and now conditions are worse.
M
I love Shake Shack! However, between inflation and the WEF and Bill Gates telling us that their goal is to eradicate meat consumption for us peasants, where are any of these beef sellers going? They want us to eat bugs and be vegan. To understand their plans and which politicians are in their pocket, just go to the WEF’s website.
d
Not really a good report!
M
Will stock drop more next year during a recession? This is reason I'm not buying at $40. Maybe going to buy at $20.
M
Problem with wage increase demand is that costs in everything else going up negates any benefits from the wage increases but then workers will demand even higher pay. This creates artificial inflation. Blame politicians for promoting living wage instead of letting the free market dictating demand and supply in a free market of commerce.
