    From ADR relationship manager:

"According to Deutsche Bank, the depositary for Siemens, the company announced that the spin-off shares will be sold and a cash distribution will be made to the Siemens AG ADR shareholders. Once the Siemens Energy shares are sold, Depositary Bank will announce a record date and an ADR pay date to the market resulting from the sale of the unregistered shares. Only after the announcement is made, the exchange will establish an Ex-Date for the cash distribution. No further information is available at this time."

SIEGY ADR holders get a cash payment. Siemens Energy started trading on 28 Sept in Germany. So far there doesn't seem to be any consequential impact on Siemens/SIEGY price.

Siemens will be 125 by beginning of August. New and more slim organization to be announced + good profits

The California Public Utilities Commission approved an order Thursday that will require PG&E Corp., the state’s biggest utility, to change the way it supplies power when demand peaks.

Anyone know for sure what the dividend payout will be? Yahoo indicates 2.13...but its kind of messy with euro to dollar conversion. The Siemens site doesn't give any anwers.

Siemens hoffte auf den größten Auftrag seiner Geschichte: die Elektrifizierung des Irak. Dann trat der Erzrivale General Electric auf den Plan

Does any one have thoughts on how to handle the last November distribution from SIEGY...as dividend? As capital gain...and if so what basis, etc. Not finding any guidance for tax purposes.
