Latino media company Mitú has partnered with Sony Pictures Animation on an accelerator program to mentor and fund Latino animation filmmakers. Sony (SNE) will work with Mitú’s Accelerator, a mentorship and fellowship program for digital content creators, filmmakers, writers and animators. Program participants will present their animated shorts to Sony Pictures Animation and Mitú executives, and three will be chosen to have their projects premiered on Mitú's platforms, which reach 120 million people daily.
