The Board of Directors of Sonoco (SON) today declared a $.43 per share quarterly common stock dividend, an approximately 5 percent increase from the previous quarterly dividend of $.41 per share. The dividend will be paid on June 10, 2019, to shareholders of record as of May 10, 2019. According to Rob Tiede, president and chief executive officer, this is the 37th consecutive year that Sonoco has grown common stock dividends and the 376th consecutive quarter, dating back to 1925, that the Company has paid dividends to shareholders.
