This segment also sells truck bodies under the Utilimaster brand name used for various dry freight transportation; aftermarket parts and accessories for walk-in vans and truck bodies; and interior equipment up fitting and aftermarket parts, as well as sells and installs up-fit equipment for walk-in vans and other delivery vehicles. The Specialty Chassis and Vehicles segment offers motor home chassis, defense vehicles, and other specialty chassis, as well as distributes related aftermarket parts and accessories. The company sells its products through a network of independent truck dealers to commercial vehicle dealers and leasing companies, as well as directly to end-users. Spartan Motors, Inc. was founded in 1975 and is headquartered in Charlotte, Michigan.
