    Food distribution giant Sysco Corp. (NYSE: SYY), Houston's second-largest public company based on revenue, has named a new president and CEO as well as a new executive chair and a new lead independent director. Tom Bené will step down from the president and CEO roles on Jan. 31 but will remain an executive adviser until March 1 to assist with the transition, according to a press release. The food distribution company has named Kevin Hourican, who was previouly executive vice president at CVS Health and president of CVS Pharmacy, as its new CEO. Bene had joined Sysco in 2013 and was named CEO in Jaunary 2018. The company said it believes the changes announced will enable Sysco to "accelerate performance, fully capitalize on its scale advantages and drive meaningful operating improvements."
