Any possibility of TEL splitting? The stock is anywhere between double or even triple its historic trading range. If management wants to maximize shareholder value, having the price at a range that will generate more investors seems logical.

The TEL C-suite executives play the market with options on their own company stock.
They also sell every stock grant they receive in this game.
Totally outrageous. They pressure the stock price downward in an ongoing basis.

I've bemoaned "planted stories" before, and here is a new one. It tells of hedge funds dumping TEL shares. It shows a graph. How is it to our benefit to be told now. Its not. They've sold out, and are ready to buy back in. But they plant a story, to push the price lower, and they will jump back in, after you sell. It seems to happen all the time. Hedge funds don't invest. They manipulate, tell fake stories, and they cheat in order to maximize their gains. Call Cramer and ask him how they do it. Unless their extensive China manufacturing is going to mess it up. Even if it comes home, or to a friendly country, TEL will still make money. Just not quite as much. In my opinion. Stay safe.

I see the selloff as funds thinking that a big write-off is in the works for selling SubCom at a loss.
They may regret their action though, because I'm thinking that the car industries expansion into more electric vehicles will largely offset that loss write-down.

Look for changes once again to TEL calenders. Recently the House of Representatives voted on banning the use of father, mother, son, daughter from their communications and bills. TEL will march along, like they did when they removed Christmas.

Simply Wall Street wonders if TEL's PE of 28 vs industry average of 21, means its time to sell. You wonder why they ddint say anything last Wednesday, when the PE was over 30. This is why I don't trust the market. Someone made a decision to release a story to put pressure on TEL. And you don't know who, or why, or if anyone paid them. We all know the big boys push stories to help exaggerate swings, so they can make more money during dips and rebounds, and so there are more dips and rebounds. Yeah the market can be wrought with danger, deceit, and downright illegal activity.

Anybody know about how the First Sensor acquisition talks are going?
Haven't heard anything in almost a month.

Has anyone ever noticed how the insides list of TE basically has turned the stock gifts into a bank for them? Curtain's wage of over 1 million , add bonuses and stock option gifts (REALLY?) compensation is aroung 10 miilion. Thent take into account all the shares given to him at $0 per share or 1/2 the value of stock and then sold that same day for a unethical amount of profit. His yearly total is probably around 20 Million. Didn't want to add it all up. BUT, the real thief of the company has always been the old "retired CEO" Thomas Lynch, his options doubled his compensation his entire reign there. Net Worth of $115 Million. Hourly employees get a raise of maybe .50 to $1.00 per hour and the insiders get MILLIONS each month. This money should roll back into the company for better equipment and keeping plants in the US. Too much greed. Dennis Kozlowski (out of prison now) didn't rape the company like these people.

It is good that TEL isn't boasting of being carbon neutral anytime soon. The fact is, electricity produced in China creates twice as much CO2 as electricity here. Couple that with shipping product over the Pacific Ocean, and you have global companies like TEL contributing to global warming over twice as much as companies that use clean US energy. That is an inarguable fact, like it nor not.

TEL took Christmas off its calendar years ago. Had we another far left present, Wall Street would have taken Christmas off their calendar too. Don't worry, as globalization marches on, all of our customs and traditions will be taken from us. For we only have about 350 million votes out of 7 billion. Yeah, you think your gonna like globalism. Better think it through.

TEL should take the money received from SubCom and buy Germany's First Sensor.

TEL is much better performance than APH and higher dividends also.
