Wake up management. We are underperforming many other regionals day to day.

Truist at best is undifferentiated. Likely average or below average among all the large banks. Either do a disiversified investment in several large ones, or find some smaller banks that have been able to show positive differentiation in their business.
K
Old bbt and SunTrust were doing fine separately. The Truist run down hill though. They are not a match. I will wait for Q2 filing.
Bearish

TFC trading with the bottom 15 regionals again this morning. Wake up management.
J
Is anyone else wondering if the BOD and executives are still making big bucks for this kind of stock performance? Bet their income and benefits are not going to take near the decrease that the stock price has.
F
Wake up management, TFC trading at 18-month lows.
D
Maybe I'm wrong this whole time? Early last year I bought a bunch of Truist and other good banks because on a relative value basis they were significantly cheaper than large portions of the market, especially technology. So here we have a market meltdown and Truist (and others) are down just as much as the high beta technology names. I'm mean what is the point buying a conservative boring bank with limited upside while still getting hammered just the same when the market breaks?
F
We are down over 10 days of the last 12 trading days. Trading below 2018, 2019 and 2020 levels. Wake up management. Buy back shares. Raise our dividend.
F
Great job management, bouncing off 18 month lows.
B
For those of you seeking management changes, CFO Daryl Bible, "instrumental in the Sun Trust, BB&T merger" has just announced he is going to retire.

What is the problem/problems with this company?

Shorties want a recession bad. Talk up that recession. Wrong time for a recession. J. Powell is correct.

I bought TFC today at the open for $50.02. I'm bad luck in the short term but overall make good stock picks like TFC. At a 4% dividend I can wait.
F
Our share price drops over $ 23.00 over the last quarter and dead silence from management.
N
maybe TFC needs to get bought out .....
Neutral
F
Over 1.8 million shares short. Somebody wants capitulation bad. Do not sell them your shares. Wake up management.
F
TFC trading at the bottom of all the regional banks today. Setting 17 month lows. Wake up management. Give yourselves a raise.
F
Big downgrade by Wolfe Research. They need to cover their short position.
