Dumped my telus shares near the ATH last april to buy heavily into Tixt. I truly believe the growth here will easily outpace the slow growth+dividends of the parent company.

I don’t know about you guys, but it seems to be the quieter the board the better the stock performance. So, let’s stay quiet… 😂

The price is way too high. They barely have anything established. Looking for below 30$ then I will think about buying

Looks like today's drop is due to TIXT's recent announcement of a secondary offering thereby diluting its shares.

Interesting they're using the total number of Telus Communications employees and saying it's Telus international employees... Buy $T.TO that is the real money maker

This is better than other high-flying IPO with no revenue and growth. TIXT has $1B in revenue and over 30000 employees.

How can this be higher than Telus that is trading under 27$.....
At least Telus pays great dividends, why would I be buying this?

46 million of shares (outstanding) are given to underwriters at a rate of $25. The current price is over 60% mark up of the original selling by the underwritter. By now only less than 1 million is sold. Yesterday, underwrtiter CIBC sold most of the stocks @ of $100 and the buyer was Morgan Stanley, who is also the another underwriter, one of the largest ones. The two underwriters buying and selling each others to jack up the price. VERY INTERESTING.

Looking at the avg. volume I started looking at some interesting stats: 92% of the shares are held by insiders and institutions (according to Morningstar, aprox 30% is held by funds and institutions other than Telus Corp --with the majority of the stocks-). So, isn't that something that every stockholder wishes for? Is that the reason for the low trading volumes? Thoughts?

maybe I'm missing something here but for a company with approximately 50mill shares, annual revenue of 1.6billion, and positive earnings, does anyone find $38 per share is extremely cheap?
