    Support will not collapse
Aphria has a market capitalization of $5.38 billion and is known as the leading global cannabis-lifestyle consumer packaged goods company. The current share price is a good entry point, as it has declined 38.5% since rising to $27.65 on March 15, 2021. Market analysts forecast the stock to climb 70.5% to $29 in the next 12 months.
Many observers think it’s unlikely that the growing support for marijuana legalization in the U.S. will suddenly collapse. They add it’s a foregone conclusion.

The U.S. House of Representatives on Monday passed legislation that would allow banks to provide services to cannabis companies in states where it is legal, a step towards removing what analysts say is a barrier to development of a national industry.
Lawmakers voted 321-101 to approve the bill and send it to the Senate.
The bill clarifies that proceeds from legitimate cannabis businesses would not be considered illegal and directs federal regulators to craft rules for how they would supervise such banking activity.
Banks have generally been unwilling to do business with companies that sell marijuana or related products, fearing they could run afoul of federal laws.

maybe TLRY will not be able to sell in the US right away, but nevertheless the investors always look for TLRY as it is the largest cannabis company out there... sort of a benchmark cannabis stock, regardless of details

Let me say 2 things. The merger will happen and thus this will be higher after April 30. Secondly, be sure that TLRY/APHA have plans to benefit from US legalization in one way or another through M&A or other ways. The largest cannabis company in the world will not sit out the US legalization of cannabis.

However, interest is back with the improving chances of marijuana’s federal legalization in the United States. The writing is on the wall, given the burst of activities in recent months.
About 17 states legalized marijuana, and in five of them, legislators enacted the laws. Based on several public opinion polls, nearly 67%, or two-thirds, of Americans favour marijuana legalization. It could be a matter time before it gets approval at the federal level.

Aphria (TSX:APHA)(NASDAQ:APHA) is looking good in 2021. The weed stock has delivered a 93.18% year-to-date gain thus far. It outperforms the TSX (+10.83%) as well as the acknowledged industry leader

Good things: 1) Whatever negativity is out there, is not able to push this lower. 2) It is holding steady in the 17-18 dollars. 3) On a down day, this is positive! 4) There is no additional negative news on the horizon. 5) Time is ripe for this to go back in the mid 20s, just needs a catalyst. GLTA!

Aphria / Tilray soon-to-be a $800 pps pound for pound gorilla.

Probably the best reason to consider buying shares of Aphria is that the company will soon become an 800-pound gorilla in the cannabis world. Aphria's pending merger with Tilray (NASDAQ:TLRY) will result in the creation of the biggest global cannabis company based on pro forma revenue.

Although the combined entity will be named $tlry , $apha will be firmly in the driver's seat. Aphria shareholders will own 62% of the post-merger company. Current Aphria chairman and CEO Irwin Simon will hold the same positions in the "new" Tilray.

The combined company will claim the largest market share in the Canadian adult-use cannabis market. It will be a major player in European medical cannabis markets with Aphria's CC Pharma distribution business paired with Tilray's big cannabis production facility in Portugal.

There's a huge market, though, that Aphria in its current or future forms can't compete in yet: the U.S. cannabis market. However, that just might change in the not-too-distant future. If it does, Aphria's Sweetwater craft beer business (which focuses on what it calls "cannabis lifestyle" craft beer brands) and Tilray's Manitoba Harvest hemp foods unit could give the combined entity a solid launch pad to enter the U.S. pot market.

Look, the whole cannabis sector has been beaten down over the last couple months. everyone knows the new Tilary share price will be in the $20's. It's not unreasonable for TLRY to reach $18-$19 before the merger; that is where it should be trading now. That being said, take advantage of whatever dips are afforded to you! Only going higher, much higher by years end!!

Huge growth coming for Tilray. Merger with Aphria end of month. International reach with US markets just opening. The new CEO says more products and acquisitions are assured. Broad range of health and leisure products. I highly recommend you buy now while the price is down.

    Commerce Secretary Gina Raimondo
as well as many other Senior Government Officials have stated they are in favour of legalizing cannabis the same as Alcohol & Tobacco.
Safe Banking is a start and will likely pass since states can receive tax dollars quicker and more accurately.
Rescheduling from Schedule 1 to 3 should happen by 2024.
Implementing Alcohol & Tobacco laws to allow government distribution & small retailers so that big alcohol, tobacco and or cannabis cannot control sales will certainly happen before 2024 elections to help employment.
Some existing retail will be grandfathered or be like NY with a maximum of 4 retail outlets but it’s likely most if not all retail will need to be by 3rd party the same as Alcohol and Tobacco. Canada has done the same.

Big money hates uncertainty due to regulatory/policy issues and this bill removes a major hurdle. Institutions will be buying weed stocks across the board and a near profitable TLRY should be a top choice.
