Hello; are you there? No one follows this underloved stock. Too bad; looks to begin to move to the upside here and break longer term trend-lines going back years. Could be a huge winner; you heard it here first folks.

    Q2 update: 527M shareholders equity / 45M shares = $11.71 / share book value. $3.81 is a great buy.

Boy how smart was it to split the company from Timken back in 2016. Notice the "activist shareholder" who proposed the split is NO LONGER a shareholder. Only matter of time before company sold. Board has no loyalty since no Timken family members are involved it running business. SAD since this company mfgs a great product.

This company has some attractive assets that no other companies can do. Forget about the financial results. In one year, the price can be easily doubled/tripled.

Is it unreasonable to think that with good earnings and positive projections for the next quarter that we might see the low 20s again here soon??

I am new to $TMST, and was startled today to read that the June 14 ValueLine summary projects price appreciation 3-5 years out at 500%-835%. I was even more startled when a very quick look at the company suggested serious problems (there are too few recent comments on this Yahoo board to give me a sense of the issues). I will do my due diligence, but wonder what the longs here think about ValueLine's projection (I realize most longs are probably focused on much shorter time periods.). I have great faith in ValueLine, but the five year chart isn't encouraging, and VL analysts can't always be right.

Does anyone know what is going on with this company? Looks like something good is happening to this undervalued steel maker.

What made Timpken the great bearing company that it is today?
I would venture to say ,"The quality of their steel".
That is what is on sale today.
What really made America great? The quality of their steel.
In these uncertain times I would certainly sleep better knowing that I depend on US steel rather than cheap Chinese scrap recoveries.

now is the time to get in,... huge capital investment boom sitting on doorstep...must use US steel...repatriated money... corporate tax reduction...what's not to like?

And now they are shutting down the Houston plant. I live in the area that this company is based out of and it is always highly regarded as a great, respectable, and profitable company. Now Timken walks off with millions and they are closing plants. Im down almost 45% on this hometown hero, almost tempted to just clear it from my portfolio and just be done with it. But i know as soon as i do that it'll be back in the teens.

It is a difficult market for most steel makers specially for SBQ producer with scrap surcharge based pricing. Scrap pricing and steel pricing are at historically low level. Automotive and energy sector are stagnant. With automotive customer they may not even cover their VC. Competition is very efficient, low cost and aggressive. TMST needs to target value added product and shut the inefficient EAF's They are market leader in some of the products they make and take advantage. Lot could be done. Need a good COO who knows the business.

BOYS...THE BUY POINT IS THE DAY AFTER EARNINGS CALL. THIS COMPANY WILL BE TAKEN OVER BY SUMMER. LIKELY BY CHARTER OR STLD. THEY SIMPLY ARE TO SMALL FOR NUCOR TO BE INTERESTED....I THINK.. BUT, YOU NEVER KNOW. THEIR CAPABILITIES ARE UNIQUE !!!!

Was expecting a terrible quarter and expecting liquidity issue requiring to borrow more money. It instead paid down debt by 30 million?? What? Total Shareholders Equity came down a bit to 542M or $12/share. I am impressed. $5 next week no doubt about it. Can't believe I missed the opportunity to buy in the $2.50 range. $3.10 is still dirt cheap.

IN LISTENING TO EARNINGS CALL. I BELIEVE TIMKEN IS PREPARING FOR A SALE. SCALING DOWN EXPENSES, SELLING OFF UNNECESSARY ENTITIES, IMPROVING CASH FLOW. BOYS....ITS A GOOD VALUE UNDER 7.50 PER SHARE. THATS A PRETTY FAIR RETURN ON YOUR MONEY AT CURRENT VALUATIONS !!!!
