Guys, check out (http://Achieverspot.tech). They have been crushing it lately while TMUS barley does anything at all.

It appears that Deutsche Telekom can buy the remainder of their desired majority T-Mobile ownership for under 4 billion should the price per share remain equal to their most recent T-Mobile share acquisition.
Articles from today inform us that DT has agreed to sell an 11 billion plus stake in a tower company and that plans are to initiate share buybacks at T-Mobile once majority ownership is established.
Meanwhile, back at the farm, Washington D. C. has passed legislation instituting a 1% tax on all share buybacks.
I see DT using whatever portion necessary of the incoming 11 billion to complete majority ownership of TMUS and begin buybacks ASAP if it is possible to beat the tax increase.

Lower download speed in Massachusetts. I got 16 Mbps in Mass today while I typically get over 500 Mbps in my house in Florida.

T-Mobile hit a new 52 week high today.
“T-Mobile delivered by far the cleanest quarter of the Big 3 with management continuing to execute on all fronts," Morgan Stanley analyst Simon Flannery said in a recent note to clients. "The company is capitalizing on lower churn as the Sprint base fully migrates with additional room for improvement."
Flannery went on to say: "Still, the biggest second half item to look forward to is a likely early commencement of the company's $60 billion share buyback program. With another credit upgrade possibly coming soon from S&P, we expect management to be in a comfortable position by their Q3 earnings announcement."

Very high expectation for TMUS ... but the true will be revealed soon and TMUS will go down very fast ... It will be down the hill like Netflix ...
Take the profit fast and get out ... the chart shown in the buying zone but the reaction today pointed to the peak then going down side.

#FJB 1% stock buyback tax takes affect 1-1-23. Will TMUS save shareholders some money by implementation before the cutoff date?
“If enacted as is, the tax would apply to repurchases that take place after December 31, 2022”. The cutoff for the effective date turns on whether a particular share repurchase was consummated after that date. In contrast, the date when a particular share repurchase plan was announced or approved is irrelevant. There is no grandfather rule or transition relief for shares that are repurchased in 2023 pursuant to a share repurchase program that was authorized in 2022 or earlier.
The tax also applies to repurchases in 2023 irrespective of whether the corporation happens to be on a fiscal or calendar year for tax purposes.

Can anyone justify the 60 P/E and where the growth to deserve it is going to come from?

As apposed to T & VZ which have no more growth and just provide a dividend stream, TMUS still has some growth in it. It doesn't provide the dividend stream that keeps many investors in the stock like T & VZ when the earnings suck, so if TMUS doesn't have good numbers for the qtr ER or fwd guidance on Wednesday, it's going to get hammered. Probably worse than T or VZ due to the fact of not having dividends to buffer a share price drop. I would definitely not be adding shares here. GLTA

TMUS is hurting everyone by trying to compete on price. They may gain subscribers but rising costs will offset any revenue gains,

Ok this whole dialogue about where is the dividend needs to stop. Look at the stock price of those other companies who offer a dividend it’s a Third of the price. If you want a dividend go to VZ or T. I own both VZ and TMUs
