Moody's Investors Service today assigned Ba3 ratings to the Term Loan AO2 (due 2027) being issued by Telenet International Finance S.à r.l. Telenet's corporate family rating ("CFR") of Ba3, probability of default rating ("PDR") of Ba3-PD, and all the existing debt instrument ratings of Ba3 at Telenet's rated subsidiaries remain unchanged.

UniCredit strategist Christian Stocker said the European equity markets had the potential to gain up to five percent over the next few weeks as the earnings outlook was strong. Telenet Group Holding's minority owner Lucerne Capital Management said in a letter that it strongly questioned the Belgian media and telecommunications group's capital allocation strategy and its potential acquisition of Belgian cable company VOO. "The current shareholder position and resulting corporate governance are long term unsustainable in our view and therefore we urge you to explore a take out of the minority shareholders or a scenario to position Telenet as an independent company governed at arms' length from Liberty Global", Lucerne said in the letter seen by Reuters.
