  • The Motley Fool article about TOO did not take into consideration the cash flow the Libra and Shutter Tanker will add to the income statement in the third quarter. The person who wrote the article should be investigated by the SEC for manipulation.
  • Well, at least the debt holders are also taking a haircut as this situation gets sorted out:

Lenders sell off some Teekay Offshore debt
Sale of secured debt in secondary market said to be taking place before negotiations.
  • Why up 13%? Any guidance on this stock? I've been invested for some time and have been getting clobbered. TK a long-term viable play or too risky with their capital shortfalls?
  • TOO is up 8.98% to 1.82
  • the dividend is gone for sure
  • Well, we got a bit of gain today. Hopefully we can continue upwards, even if it's slowly.
  • Really surprised how heavy the volume is this morning.
  • Over one million shares traded hands on the last tick on the close. Institutions stepping up to the plate and swing for the fence.
  • My TGT $15.

This is no Chinese co. This is managed by trustworthy Nordic seaborne experts :)
  • Wow. Starting to wonder if management heads are about to roll at this outfit. Not a peep about progress towards solving the issues since earnings. Analysts and market are left with little to no specific information about forward prospects and can only assume the worst given how evasive the responses to analyst questions were on the earnings conf call. Big question in my mind around today's action is how much is related to the oil selloff, how much might be continued liquidation related to TOO's removal from AMZ and AMZE (which need to be completed by this Friday), or how much is due to an as yet unannounced decision or event that has leaked out.
  • So is it $1.50 yet as per M.S.

  • If you were a bronc rider from Wyoming you might have a better chance of stomaching this ride, but I hope the horse doesn't die. Can't get any where riding a dead horse.
  • TOO reached a new Ten Year Low at 1.76
  • There were no follow through selling on the three day rule. I have enough data to form the parameters for a trend channel with three hits to the top and bottom lines.I am not sure how it is going to happen, any type of good news may trigger it. I think the major concern for investors is the dividend. However, at least we know they increased DFC from the previous quarter with out the UMS revenue. I think higher rates and deployment in the shuttle business will allow them to keep the dividend unchanged as they projected on the latest conference call.
  • Seems like index rebalancing is finished
  • High debt and a prospect of a capital raise look like a recipe for disaster especially in a falling oil market and falling share price - high leverage requires confidence and trust of the market. Collapsing share price removes this critical part and makes debt burden too heavy. I am not calling a complete disaster scenario, just saying i could see the stock falling even lower. But if you believe the company can raise capital from asset sales, partners - then you should just ignore the share price volatility.
  • Premarket is sub 3. What's up ? I see no announcement.
