Jakob, I believe they are correct. The Construction Dive report I mentioned gives good information on timing and volume$. An interesting comment on the limited completion for mega projects. (The bindis someone like Tutor Perini and one or two big Spanish firms).

If what the folks at Brookfield Asset Management said at their investor day 2022 is true, that the world needs massive investment into infrastructure, then TPC is at an obscene price.

TPC for the past 5 years has been worthy of a $15+ stock. Tough though to achieve that when we see little real estate investment and low levels of institutional investors.

Could possibly have a market cap equal to cash on hand, depending how much cash has come in this quarter. Possible they have used cash, too. Management knows and could make moves to buy back stock in the right setting.

It would be remarkable to see the market cap drop below their cash levels. Market is sure betting against their ability to generate cash if that happens.

market cap is 10% of the account receivable. Even enterprise value is only 31% of the account receivable. That means if Tutor Perini cut a deal to only ask for 31% of the account receivable for all past disagreements. We get a free business with 8.5 billion backlog. Is this doable?

If you examine the details of the recent form 4 (restricted stock units) you will see why the stock continued to decline. I put a value of 15.50-17.50. The question, if it will be realized.

The problem with this TPC is group think and the lack of external experience. I am sure management blames the poor performance on the market and the industry. However strong management would restructure the business to match the market. Dispose of underperforming lines of business and focus on profitable lines. This is what AECOM and Jacobs do. It is hard but that is what management is paid to do.

Can anyone explain why on Yahoo Finance there have been no upgrades/downgrades since 2020, but recommendations for this month (September) shows 7 buy/strong buys?

Perplexed-- I really thought the federal infrastructure $$ was gong to make TPC a great investment @ $14.

Ron Tutor is 81 years old. In the next few years, there will be some kind of succession or transition to new management or new ownership. Obviously, the stock is severely undervalued. So, just hold your nose and buy the shares with the certainty that when Ron Tutor is out of the picture, the inherent value of the company's assets will be reflected in the stock price.
