I think the CDC needs to be policed. Something real fishy is going on over there. Mortality rate is now at 2.9% without a vaccine in the United States and they can't seem to come up with a stance on how to proceed with this virus? It seems like they are just too scared to take a stance and will approach the situation as glass half empty. If they don't understand basic math and are not able to see that the mortality rate is dropping with more testing and the recovery rate is accelerating despite the growing number of cases then we are doomed. Robert Redfied even doubled down on possibly the vaccine might not be as effective as mask wearing because the immunogenicity of the vaccine might be only 70% and mask wearing is more of a guarantee of not contracting the virus. I REALLY do not understand how he was able to make this claim. It almost appears like the CDC is playing puppet to the democrats.

Republicans introduced a 28 million stimulus bill for airlines ! $SAVE $LUV $AAL $UAL $DAL
Thinking of investing in airlines soon. I feel like there will be some downside until February and March. Then when more and more people get vaccinated they will be heading to the airlines to see family no matter what the price is. The demand will be huge in the summer and this stock will double or triple hopefully.
Here's my take.....UAL.....is dying to go up......any help coming from the government.....or.....a vaccine witch is what they're telling us, is coming soon....even the 737 getting approved...and I believe there's a good chance this could spike up to $47-48 dollars........maybe higher....but, there's not a lot of downside here.....any downtrend at this point will just look like a good buying opportunity............I don't think you can go wrong here......
Cover your shorting position right now. We are on our way for big recovery from here.
A drastic drop is usually followed by a substantial gain. Have faith, folks.
UAL CEO always talked down the stock. Every time when he speaks, UAL goes down. It has been really frustrating. Is he trying to lower investor's expectation so that he could do his job easier? or is UAL in much worse situation? Everyone knows airlines are in touch time. But if a CEO repeats the news again and again, investors will become nervous and flip every stone to identify the truth behind.
They had some interesting insights about UAL on
. Definitely made me think twice about the company.
Sentiment of UAL stock by the analysts has lifted higher this month.
Prepare for 46$

guess I'll have to start taking the train being airlines are dead according to sellers
I hated the airlines for some time. Now I am glad I loaded up 100 ual and 100 dal
i wont lie.. i'm secretly hoping for the layoffs.. it'll only help the companies bottom line.. unless the stimulus package gives the airlines grants there is no point borrowing anymore anyways.. lay the off and slowly hire them back.
Quite a drastic over-reaction. Sigh...
Today is quadruple witching day, contracts expiring and rollimg over into new contracts for oct-dec. Ignore the price action today
Nice correction after a good run on airline stocks and RCL....Time to get back in!
Can someone enlighten me how AAL, Southwest and Delta are green but United is red?
How soon can we see $45.00 asking for your thoughts
Stephane Trent from Citigroup rated UAL with a buy 43 price target....
