    [$$] UPS Reaches Labor Deal With Aircraft Mechanics

    United Parcel Service Inc. has reached a tentative labor contract covering more than 1,000 aircraft mechanics, the delivery company’s third such deal with the Teamsters union in recent months. The agreement with Louisville-based Teamsters Local 2727, after more than four years of negotiations, provides annual wage increases and preserves health coverage without employee premiums. The deal sets up a critical series of votes for UPS union members on three contracts that represent more than 260,000 covered employees.
