I can objectively state CEO DeGiglio’s performance at the BMO Global Conference was his best and, on balance, as good or better than any I have watched. listened to or presentations I have attended over the last five years I have been in the Cannabis Industry and over four years in VFF…. DD
While most Canadian Cannabis companies better reflect their true value, Village Farms is still undervalued, in comparison, and has more up-side compared to Canopy, Aurora and Hexo…….

400 million to replace Texas Greenhouse 1 billion in Canabis
So in the $3 range VFF market cap is now below $270 million. On the earnings call Mike says the replacement cost of the green houses in Texas alone is about 400 million. Currently there are likely some folks in Texas crossing the New Mexico State line to buy legal weed. How long will Texas put up with tax revenue going to another state? How long will voters put up with the law makers who aren’t legalizing weed? So at $3 per share today I’m getting that greenhouse in Texas at a discount that will produce a billion dollars in marijuana in the Lone Star State. I’m also getting VFF and the rest of its companies for FREE.

Some here like to create stories but are not based upon fact… I don’t get it myself as all one has to do is read the earnings call transcript to find the facts. As far as some would like you to believe Vff have contracts with fixed prices and make up more stuff… Vff years ago… dropped contract pricing and went to spot pricing… on individual pointed out as per Mike the produce loss was driven by two factors that collided in the quarter which were accelerating cost such as fertilizer, diesel fuel and driver shortages in the USA… well cost increased the growing season saw an oversupply of produce that Vff grows… so due to the oversupply Vff was unable to pass through the cost increase… it would be expected other produce growers will reduce or change products due to massive losses within the whole industry. The transcript is out there just google to get a copy of it.
Checking tomato futures in the US, April prices were 25% higher than March, which looked like a low point. I know VFF painted a pretty grim picture for tomatos for this yr, but I am hopeful inflation will catch on with fresh produce this year and we will see a bump in Revenue.
VFF has cycled 2 times over 5 years. (2 to 15 to 3 to 20 to 3...... Now all the way back down below book value. Anyway, now that all the downgrades have occured, I expect to see a come back over the next year. valuation has no relationship to prospects and sales going forward
Why is this over looked or why doesn't Mr Mike or Steve defend this capital investment against the $6.7 million loss....this is great news but no mention of it, just when Aurora is shutting down Aurora Sky which cost $200 million to build, we just completed Delta 2 and paid in full. from the earnings report..go figure??
....""During the quarter, we invested just over $8.7 million. We spent $5.3 million in capital expenditures on our existing production facilities, primarily for the expansion of our Delta cannabis operations and another $3.4 million in the form of loans and the convertible note to benefit our initiatives outside of North America.""
why is ut that VFF can't raise the price on its produce but when your at the grocery store they sure can. Im thinking Mr Mike and Steve dropped the ball here, every other business is adjusting prices as the market evolves month by month, if q2 has another big loss on veggy side Mr Mike & Steve need to be removed, this shouldn't happen again. You can't and know CEO would allow this to happen quarter over quarter.
How was the fireside chat with Mike? Anyone listen in?
Aurora reports lose of " 1 BILLION " & VFF reports loss of $7 million.....VFF down 38% ...Aurora up 16%....this sector is pure manipulation by Hedges and Instatutional & Short.

… Bright Green Corp. made U.S. marijuana industry history Tuesday.
The Florida-based company, which says it has conditional approval from the U.S. Drug Enforcement Administration to grow marijuana for research purposes, became the first American plant-touching company to trade on a major exchange in the United States – in this case, the Nasdaq.Shares traded as high as $36.44 before closing at $25.25, reflecting a 216% increase over the reference”…
……. The sad fact is, they are not the first….We are….We changed our Domicile to U.S. over two years ago and delisted from TSX end of 2021...but nobody pushes that fact on a sustained, wide investment news promotional program…I guess the only logical explanation is the company's legal-beagles caution management against it…...DD

Still rated "Strong Buy" based on average of 7 analysts offering 12 month price targets for VFF in the last 3 months. The average price target is $10.47 with a high estimate of $17 and a low estimate of $5.
Picked up 15.8k shares today at an avg. of $3.06. Bought between $2.90 and $3.13.
I never thought I'd get shares this cheap again, someday this will make a new all time high and it's still a great time to invest here, the S.P. should be a minimum of $6-$7 right now.
Interesting numbers for the cannabis portion of the business (Now worth 41%). Good things are coming with the US and EUROPE.
One time acquisition expenses drove the loss. Not a report. Great cannabis numbers
Entire sector is green with the exception of VFF and Trulieve my only 2 pot holdings and by far the 2 best in their respective classes.
They issued a correction about ER towards 2pm and since then boom !
I believe when we hit 2.90 that was the lowest low in 4 years,
