You know how long the debut has been going on about VGRs dividend? Forever at least 15 yrs
whats going on with this stock now.
Another .40 div, payable 6/29 to holders as of 6/20.
Take advantage of this weakness, vgr will soon begin its climb into the next dividend. This always happens about 30 days pre ex/div. It is consistently one of the easiest plays in the market.
VGR gives no indication of changing its dividend (cash or stock) for the foreseeable future. Until they do, expect the stock to trade in the range $20 - $25 UNLESS the hedge funds that drove the price up from $16 to $22 on 21 January 2014 (10x normal volume) start to unload their VGR holdings --- that could drive the price back down to the $16 area. So watch the daily volume for that indicator (i.e., hedge funds unloading VGR). Until such event occurs, VGR is a weak Buy and strong Hold IMO.
I have a feeling VGR will see a pullback now. What yall think? I started receiving notifications from awesomestoc-ks the other week and so far they have presented interesting new trade ideas.
Swt $VGR..another dividend pay-off March 30....next pay-off June 29th...SWT...5.4K
Think VGR needs to merge with another tobacco company or company Looks like trouble ahead
$.40 earnings next year while still paying $1.60. Arithmetic no longer sustainable. Look for big drop after X date.

As usual VGR tends to move sideways until we approach xtra cash dividend in September; at that point the stock rises. This plays out like clockwork each and every year. The question as to VGR's capacity top pay the dividend(s) is academic; yes borrow to pay and always accomplished.
3/14 @ 12:20p EDT - Down $.49 (2.25%) - Now what? Going EX in three days (as in you have to buy by 3:59p on Friday) . . . Any thoughts?
Dividend announcement --- when?
We all know that Vector can not pay the dividend, but I guess nobody ever told Vector. Bought for about 4.98 a share when it was called Brooke Group Ltd . It is hard to argue with SUCCESS !We all know that everything has to end sooner or later, but if we knew when , we would all be billionaires !!! (HOLD)

Insiders are selling a lot of their stock. They know something we don't.
Revenue up year to year Profit up year to year. More importantly Real Estate revenue up year to year? What gives, massive drop for such a small earnings miss.
Does anyone knows whether Vector (VGR) is entering the Cannabis cigarettes business?
BTW: It may be a wishful thinking, but it seems that in most years, around early March, insiders have been unloading/selling VGR.
Oversold...back up the truck we are within a week of x-date.
For those considering VGR as a growth stock, forget it. Buy BA or JMP or TSLA. VGR is like a bank account, with a much larger return. You can get a CD at a terrible interest or VGR at 1.60 div, which it has paid for year, plus a 5% stock div every September.
