this company should be on the NYSE or NASDAQ. It doesn't belong on the OTC!

Brussels approved this giant deal between Veolia and Suez. Frerot's dream becoming reality. The most magnificent water and recycling company in the whole world, with one of the brightest businessmen in the driving seat.

Nice increase in dividend to 1.03 from the 80 cent range.

So since the start of the Russia - Ukraine conflict, VEOEY is off 37%. Aside from the obvious fear of nuclear environmental disaster, which one could actually argue would be GOOD for a company like Veolia, can anyone explain to me why this stock is being sold off apart from the fear trade? This thing is as close apparently as one can come to a global utilities monopoly. Any insights because I don't get it.

Looks as if the dividend will be cut rather substantially if the half Euro is adopted at the annual meeting. I believe last year it was closer to one Euro when converted to dollars and before foreign withholding tax. Am I reading this correctly?

Great "portfolio" for the 21st century infrastrucure cycle

This was a great report and should make long term holders very happy. Now, management, a special dividend would be very welcome since the last two years dividends were pretty poor.

stock ready to climb. News coming.
T
Well this is ugly. I bought for the dividend but expected less volatility. Currency woes I guess.
T
Just the market or did Veolia go ex-dividend today?

Would be the perfect water company if it wasn't based in France and run by the French.

Anybody got a clue, why the down turn in VE
T
3.5% down and low volume and no news. Hmmm?
T
Will part of Veolia (French water and waste collection part) be bought out? Some rumors of that in the news.
T
I don't get it. Veolia down on big market up days and then it goes up on days when my others are mostly down.
